Nice video mate! Just in case anyone does ask or anyone that sees this comment, the ultra gauge can be bought from a company over East - Precise Auto if you search for ultra gauge au it will come up. I got mine from over there and they were brilliant, also have a selection of mounting options (I think 3) to suit what you need! Keep up the great content mate loving the videos!

Just had my windows tented on our LC-200 they also recommended a UV only film for the windshield and i'm glad I had it done. It has a very slight tent that isn't noticeable unless I have the door open or a front window rolled down. The dash is staying much cooler and I have noticed a huge reduction in glare overall. We had the rear windows tented with 20% over the factory tent and it keeps prying eyes from seeing anything inside the cruiser. Nice video and i'm planning on doing the rear lift gate light mod soon.

For sure, the windows definitely require a better tinting for the reasons you listed there. I also did this as one of the first modifications on my cruiser after picking it up.

Great video but have those 5 also but different Matt’s so you have saved me some cash, re your ultra gauge what the setting for your fuel usage? I thought the snorkel ram you use may of made the list.
@XploringOz
@XploringOz 3 жыл бұрын
Sounds like you have an awesome build as well. Sometimes it's these little accessories that work well that can really finish the build off. To be completely honest, I actually don't use the Ultragauge for fuel consumption. I should probably get around to it sometime, however I've found the on-board estimates to be very accurate. I've had a few people mention the snorkel ram head, it was close, but I if I could only buy 5 things, I think these items would probably get used more often when touring/camping. Not trying to diminish the importance of looking after that air box though.

G'day Nath. Great video and thanks for sharing. I have a question relating to the Ultra Gauge. I have the ARB Links gauge running in my 200. Are you aware of any potential issues running both side by side or are they two totally different systems ? Thanking you in advance.
@XploringOz
@XploringOz 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks once again Jim. So I'm not overly familiar with the ARB LINX system, but from what I do understand they should be two seperate systems. I'm under the belief that the LINX system is an interface so all electrical devices and controlled via it's own system, or hub mounted inside the vehicle. The Ultragauge plugs only into the OBDII port of the cruiser, and can be run independently. Are you able to confirm that the LINX system does not plug into the OBDII port? I hope that helps somewhat. Cheers, Nathan.

Great Vid - looking to get a few of those. Donaldson pre cleaner didn't make it mate - more than $500? Where would you rate that in the list of overall mods regardless of price?
@XploringOz
@XploringOz 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate. So no, the pre-filter didn't quite make the cut this video. This is not because it costs too much (about $120) or because it doesn't work, more so because the other accessories get more 'practical' use from their value. Don't get me wrong, the pre-filter is important and if you've seen my other videos, I won't be getting rid of it anytime soon, however the other accessories are a little more interactive for LC owners. The pre-filter is still right there in terms of cheap insurance modifications on the cruiser for sure. Thanks, Nathan.

Nice coverage and explanations. There is an monitor that works on your phone called Torque Pro by a British developer. It can do what you described and costs just 5 dollars.You'll need an ELM 327 bluetooth OBDII module that costs less than $10. Hi Just would like your opinion on the following: I’m looking at installing a twin compressor under the bonnet. Is this possible. What are the pros and cons. Is it worth installing a rear diff locker in the LC 200 or it’s not needed?
@XploringOz
@XploringOz 3 жыл бұрын
Hey mate, so installing one of these is possible under bonnet, however it will depend on what modifications you already have installed. In my case I have a additional fuse block, catch can and fuel filter meaning there is no space to fit a air compressor. Also, lockers are generally superior, however the traction control systems in this LC200 are very effective and useful. Cheers, Nathan.

Great video and thanks for working hard for the giveaway. But what about those of us who aren't on facebook?
@XploringOz
@XploringOz 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate. So this whole process is a learning curve for me and the giveaway is a first for my channel. Unbeknown to me prior to developing this giveaway, there is a lot to consider in terms of legal parameters for giving away items on KZbin and social media. In this instance, I have found it most practicable to utilise Facebook in order to ensure compliance with relevant platforms. I hope to run more of these in the future and will endeavour to brush up on the KZbin terms and conditions, along with other legal framework to see whether I can run future contests solely off KZbin. I apologise if this has made it difficult for you to enter this contest. If it were up to me, this process would be simple, but as it stands, legal requirements and platform policies exist and can make it a little harder. Cheers, Nathan.

did you find the airbags installed on the rear springs changed the daily ride significantly when not filled for towing? I know you can air them down so they are not as stiff, just curious how different they are over stock ride. I had a set installed on a truck and even at 6 psi they were bouncier than the truck was stock.
