For those unaware. Houndstone was faster than Dugtrio because of Sand Rush. Sucker Punch would have went second and failed.

@@slippyquack7672 Only if the move is of a higher priority speed tier, like Extremespeed, which is Tier 2. If both moves are Tier 1 then the faster Pokémon goes first.

Lanturn is literally one of my favorite pokemon. I always have a clause in my Nuzlockes that if i find it i get to use it no matter what. Even though Arcanine is my favorite, Lanturn is just so cool, especially since it can have water absorb or volt absorb.

I like to think that the reason that hippowdon's name is dry wall is because he just looks like the type of guy that you'd come home after a long day of work and find him gnawing on your drywall. Don't get me wrong i get the pun with him being a tanky monster, the thought of a giant hippo eating drywall makes me chuckle.

Wouldnt call it a misplay. Regular shadow sneak wouldn't have ko'd dugtrio, so he figured Outspeed the houndstone. Tera Ghost gave it the extra power with Shadow sneak. This obviously before he figured Choice Banded.

This is off topic, but I think the ability Pick Up should be able to pickup items that are knock off or are on the ground. I feel like it’ll be a good ability in competitive and give mons that have it, a chance for competitive play. To make it even better, you’d be able to choose who gets the item that they picked up.

Mons with multiple abilities like that is so good because if you U-turn into your lantern when they bring out theor pivot they will assume you have the ability for the volt-swotch/flip turn even if you don't. And in that instant you are benefiting from 2 abilities at the same time almost.

Still waiting for a Regional Lanturn, that's Ghost/Water or Ghost/Electric which is an Angler Fish that haunts a sunken ship with the light on its head being used to lure ships towards rocks like an inverse lighthouse... Or stick with the wholesome aesthetic and have it mimic a lighthouse to save ships in danger. I can picture the design in my head, regardless of it being wholesome or sinister, it maintains the general body shape with it being inside half of a ship like a shell and when it wants to lure something the light on its head stretches out to form the other half of the ship out of ghostly energy and allow it to cruise across water easier.

Ahhhh, good 'ol Lanturn. That was one of my main pokemon back in the GSC days. Thunder wave/confuse ray/surf/thunderbolt ruined gym leaders and the elite 4. Didnt even realize its poor stats when I was a kid, since it was such a good support pokemon with its parafusion.

I think the biggest crime that GameFreak continues to make is that they made its shiny form purple and nowhere did they consider to make the mask markings around its eyes green. I am very aware that the english names are punny translations but damnit, Green Lanturn would have been so relentlessly cool. And it would have been endlessly memeable, too.
