Dennis, Thank You so much for sharing your amazing city. I love to “walk “ with you. I can not wait for our Alaskan cruise in July leaving from and returning to Seattle. We are coming in 2 days early and I am excited to see the city.

Nice show. I’ve been to the Seattle area many times but you show me places I was not comfortable walking in and I see what I missed😢.

Almost an hour of pure joy. You had one cup of coffee Mr Dennis and I had two cups watching. Was thinking you were going in to King St station, the architecture inside there is a masterpiece. Trade off,got to visit the water park,that is exceptionally nice! Water front sure has changed alot since they took down the Alaskan viaduct,looki nice. Like you said time is always changing, some for the good and not so good. Guess it all depends on how one sees it,I rather see it as a glass half full than half empty. Thank you Mr Dennis for carrying us along. Hard to express in words how relaxing it is watching your videos. Just know they are greatly appreciated and the time you put in to make them. May the rest of the week hold many blessings in store for you. Take care my friend.. Peace.

Dennis! I’m a big fan of your videos and walking vids especially! I recently visited Whidbey Island and if you’re ever in that area it would be cool to see you film there if you haven’t already. :)

Just "a beanie" fyi, no "hat" needed lol. Also highly recommend the water taxi (pref to West Seattle), aka the fast ferry. It's a blast. Could explore Alki while you're there.

Wished this was available three weeks ago when I visited Seattle. I like walking and walked all over the city but still missed some of the sights you highlighted.

Great video! The last time I went to the waterfall park it was closed! Maybe for maintenance? But glad to see it’s still open for the public. And that walkway bridge to the ferries were an eye opener! Never knew it existed. Thank you for pointing these out! Keep up the great work. 👍👍👍

Hi from Australia 🇦🇺. Just want to thank you for a previous video as I have changed my June 2022 accommodation booking to The Edgewater Hotel. I am a solo female and have been very anxious about walking around Seattle and I hope being on the waterfront will be a bit safer walking to Pike Market. Your videos have been a great help 😀

New York has a little alcove waterfall park in the middle of the city, too! Gotta love those hidden gems. Honestly, every time I've gone, I've been the only one there. I'll have to check out this park too, thanks for the tip! I feel like you've given us some great recommendations for places to check out near that park, so I'll have to make a morning of it ☕️

Thanks for touring into the waterfall garden park. That was new for me. The waterfall background sound was actually natural as not as loud as it would be. Thanks again! BTW, is Japanese mochi donut a thing there in the ID area? Let your viewers know if you can. Thanks!

lol guilty for waterfall garden! But thanks brotha. I loved seeing it! We wanted to go on my birthday in December but pike place and the waterfront took our ENTIRE DAY!!! Lol. We will have to go one day. I love Seattle man. Such a great city. The dirtiness will get better. I was talking to a guy here in Denver and in New Orleans that said that someone in Portland and in Seattle bussed a bunch of the crime causing people in by busloads and the cities took care of them. But it sounds like Seattle isn’t gonna tolerate that behavior anymore. On my birthday we ended up on the third ave area on our way to west lake. It was kinda scary. They were loud and they seemed angry but we just minded our own business and nobody bothered us. Stayed close to the street.

I am viewing your videos to get updates on state of downtown Seattle. I had been hearing quite a bit of negative chatter about downtown recently such as how there were tents all over sidewalks as well as trash on the streets. However, after my own recent visits to downtown and also from watching you videos, the streets are actually in pretty decent shape. They are quite clean and I didn't notice any tent. Even Pioneer Square which is the supposed ground zero of encampments now appears pretty well cleaned up. My main worry as I mentioned in your other video is that I am hardly seeing restaurants and shops that are still in business. There is also very little foot traffic also. Currently, the foot traffic and retail activity appear limited to Pike Place Market. I am hoping that as office activity resumes and as tourist return, the retail and hospitality sector would recover. The leadership of the city has some work cut out for them. I do know that there have been recent meetings of downtown association and city officials to kick start the recovery. I went to Starbucks Roastery in Capital Hill last year and that area was actually thriving pretty well. Lot of people and packed restaurants (even though we still had covid restrictions then). I was at U-Village and University Avenue couple of weeks ago and they were brimming with activity. I have heard Ballard is doing pretty well too. Downtown core (aside from Pike Place) still has a way to go, fingers crossed!

You always show the nice part of Seattle. Nice but what if I walk the wrong way? I would like to see the dangerous areas
@LaoOcean2 жыл бұрын
Plenty of not so nice parts. Be sure to watch the entire video. 😒
@minsanminsan2 жыл бұрын
Wish we get to see those "not nice" areas also. So we, viewers would be aware.
@JohnDoe-mt7ws2 жыл бұрын
I am not sure if there is "dangerous" area in Seattle, the kind you might expect in some East Coast or Midwest cities. There are a couple of blocks on 3rd Avenue (between Pike and Pine) where is there a high concentration of people loitering around as well as illicit activities (mainly drug use/dealing). Walking that part can be an unpleasant experience. Someone might randomly look or talk to you in intimidating way. However recently mayor has assigned permanent police presence after which things have gotten better.
