Great lenses. I tried one with the RED people here in Italy on the KX and the image was very nice. Thanks Scott, awesome job as always 🙏

Very informative Scott! Thank you! I think unless something else comes out, those will be my go-to for the first PL KX compatible lenses I'll get.

Commenting before I even watch… Got the 28-75mm and I like it. But I’m really interested in your take.

Well, how was my take? :)

Pretty much in line with what I think, which is that they are pretty good for full frame and rather compact Cine zooms! Good to know that they withstood a bit of humidity too! And to top it off you added some very nice nature b-roll!!! I like the 28-75mm as a travel lens paired with my Komodo and on these occasions I don’t mind the bit of barrel distortion so much as I mind getting the shot. Thank you for the great review!

I’d rather have these over the DZO zooms. Just feels more practical. Tho I think I’d still spend the extra money and get the 4k ish fujinon zooms. I like the lens flares with the fujinons much more when they are blasted with light. (I can’t stand lenses that make light feel extremely soulless. For that reason I love my Ang 10x 25-250 even tho there is noticeable CA. Definitely an artsy zoom but definitely more of what I love to see when designing the shot for appeal. I’d like to use it for documentary work soon for sure tho, anyways.)

Whoops. did not mean to reply under this specific thread. Anyways, @scottbalkum do you have an affiliate link to the new tilta nano 2 focus puller and motor? I need to buy it tonight ASAP!

Still doubting between these and the DZO Catta zooms. I already own the Vespid primes however the reviews of these rangers are mostly so solid.

Hey, would you know the PL flange distance for this lens? I'm interested to try those lenses with the PL mount mod kit from WoodenCamera to BMPCC6K PRO and they say that 33.89mm is needed. Thx

Hi. I shoot underwater aswell. With a komodo on gates. How do you like them for underwater? Do you have to use a diopter? Looking into buying this lense and leave still lenses behind.
