LAPD Live Pursuit - Police Radio Scanner Feed - 5-OCT-2021 Olympic/Hollywood/Wilshire Divisions.
At 3:11am an LAPD unit from the Olympic division initiated a "following" of a Blue 2016 Honda Pilot at 8th Street and Oxford. The unit requested Backup, Air Unit and Supervisor to respond. The occupants were wanted for a GTA and were considered Armed and Dangerous. At approximately 3:13am the Air Unit, Air 16, was overhead.
After pulling into a gas station at Western and Olympic, LAPD units attempted to initiate a traffic stop and a pursuit began when the driver took off. After numerous warnings regarding the Armed and Dangerous status of the occupants, the pursuit finally terminated when the vehicle crashed (TC'ed) at 3:19am while heading Northbound on Fairfax from Pico. At least 2 occupants bailed out. One suspect was captured after a short foot pursuit and a perimeter was established to try and locate the other suspect. Unknown at this time if the other occupants were ever located.
