Ive gone through this on my macbook pro twice. My cousin had a problem with his macbook air and guess what… same problem. This is a common problem with macbooks. Super annoying.

Guys, for God's sake, if you don't see your disks on CMD+R and only have the Internet Recovery mode as an option, and after waiting for so long for the Internet Recovery Mode to download everything, and then you encounter an error like (-3002F, -3003F), try using ANOTHER INTERNET CONNECTION. I tried my Wi-Fi many times without success, and then I switched to my 5G on my mobile, routing it, and it just worked. I was then able to access the Disk Utilities and so on...

I did that but I can’t find a way to startup from usb. There’s no option in recovery mode to do so and I can’t access the boot menu to choose usb. It just keeps going to the darn globe no matter what key combination I press

Guys! If the commands don’t respond, and only the world spinning appears, keep trying different networks until doesn’t show any errors. In my case, my 5g wifi network didn’t t work but the regular one did. Be patient and stop trying other combinations as they won’t work.

Hi, I turn on my MacBook Pro, I get just the Apple logo. i tried your steps and none of it working, it doesn’t even goes to the internet recovery screen. I tried holding cmd-option-control and p-r buttons, the Apple icon disappeared, it keep cycling rebooting with black screen. I could hear the turn on, when it about to reboot again it give a sound like mail just sent out. Is there anything could be fine or should i just take it to Apple shop and get them to fix it? Hello Lapfix... Maybe you read me or not, I hope you can read me... I have a problem with my 2019 13" MacBook Pro... This is what happens when I lift the screen cover, it turns on by itself, the startup music doesn't play but it enters the internet recovery... From there I log in and everything is normal and the loading bar with the globe starts to go up, after that loads the logo changes to the Apple logo and another bar loads up to about 1/4 of the capacity and there it does something strange, the whole screen goes black and the fans speed up and then quickly shuts down and restarts the whole process again in a loop again and again and again. I bought this MacBook from a seller who told me he didn't know how to fix this problem and I wanted to try it myself but I haven't been able to do it, not even putting it in DFU mode and resetting everything. It always does the same thing. Another thing I've tried is using the other commands to use built-in Recovery but without success... Hope you can help me... Thanks

My daughter has a 2019 macbook air and it keeps going to internet recovery and then it will stop halfway through and say there was an error. I've tried unplugging and plugging the battery back inside, I've tried pressing D to go into that mode, I've tried everything online that I can find and it still goes straight to internet recovery and then error out. Apple wants $500 just to diagnose it and fix it if its not a hardware issue. I bought her this expensive paper weight cause she convinced me it would work longer than one of my lame Windows PCs, of which never fails me. I'm at my wits end. I keep threatening to buy her a cheap dell or something but all of her crap is Apple.

Try a PRAM reset first. If that doesn't work, there is a hardware issue

@@thegunsandrozeschange networks. Avoid the 5G wifi and stick to regular wifi. Worked for me and now reinstalling latest recovery stored OS (Ventura in my case)

I get to an Activate Mac screen. I see the wifi menu, but I see no wifi signals. The wifi signals exist, they are just not visible in my macbook pro 2019.

Which year do you have? If you have the same one, try holding cmd-option-p-r until the apple logo shows a second time. This is a pram reset. Then check if you can see the wifi signals in the recovery option in the corner.

I encountered this issue today. I was running a partitioned HD with Bootcamp, mostly running Windows. I tried many steps but did not try to the "nunclear" option of reinstalling MacOS, as I did not want to lose all my Windows data. I was able to get into Disk Utility and run First Aid, but I'm not sure if it helped or hurt. Eventually, after several restarts and holding Option, I saw the spinning globe icon and it asked me for a WiFi password. And finally, it just gave up and referred me to Apple Support. So, I pulled the SSD and ordered an enclosure. My main fear is losing all data, primarily that was in the Bootcamp Win. partition. Usually, in Disk Utility, I would see BOOTCAMP listed as a drive as Windows, but the last time I was in Disk Utility, I just saw one drive (Mac) listed BUT the file storage bar, show it full, so I'm hoping I can still access the data on another computer. I would like to hear your thoughts/advice.btw, I did reset the PRAM and NVRAM as well. Thanks!

I have same issue, but all my keys are working fine. Only thing is if I move further steps it will take me to activation lock where I don't have credentials or I have tried too many times. I need to get out from this recovery mode. I tried with option+hold, option+cmd+p+r.. Nothing works for me to come out of that mode.. Please help me come out of this mode

I am completely stuck here. I erased all the data and want to restart before selling my Mac. It constantly restarts automatically and basically I can't turn it off. It doesn't play a sound when logo shows up. I've tried all the shortcuts and it always gets to turning globe and asks me to select Wi-Fi... If I type in the password, it starts the recovery and always ends up with either 1008, 2003, of 2005 f errors. I have exact same model and Monterey was installed before erasing all the data. I've even tried connecting directly with Ethernet via hub but it always shows this globe and prompts for wifi... I have another M3 Pro Mac with Sonoma installed, so I didn't find a way to create bootable USB with lower versions of the Mac OS. Please help.

Even if it is greyed out, it should let you select. Try a PRAM reset - Hold "Command-Option-P-R" all at the same time. It will go to an apple logo the second time, let it load. Then try going through internet recovery again - Command-R

same here! the sonoma 15.0.1 update bricked me and I've been in uninteruptable internet recovery loop ever since. haven't found a key combo to stop it from going into internet recovery, so annoying. going to try the 5g phone hotspot thing now, I'm sure that won't be slow at all. Great news is that if it does start to succeed with the 5g and doesn't reboot after failing, I will be without a phone as well as the computer for at least 8-10 hrs.
