Jennifer Barnes do the sandwiches get soggy?
@jenniferbarnes56584 жыл бұрын
@@natpn1982 no they don’t I was skeptical at first so I made 1 each and froze them for a week then had them for lunch when we were all home so if they were soggy and gross I could get something else! We loved them and made them 3 big batches since! Mayo and cheese in the middle between meat was a tip given on another site! I like sandwiches and subs but only occasionally and the meat just didn’t keep so this way I can make meaty sandwiches and freeze them and don’t waste any meat! My daughter requested cheese grated finely for them lol!

Oh yes, I remember those candy bars too. The raisin ones were my favorite. I haven't had them for years! Your brownie pan would be the perfect mold for those! I love it! Quick tip for getting cookies done fast, roll the dough into a snake/rope then cut it into the size you would usually make the balls. Plop them on your cookie sheet and bake. No need to scoop individual balls that way and you can pretty much judge the size too. It's a fast way to make a bunch. ( lunch lady tip ). I put pudding mix in my batter as well. It keeps them nice, fluffy and soft. Hot cocoa and cookies! What could be better? Thank you!

I have a great recipe for biscuits (you call them cookies), you make the dough up, form into logs, wrap them up and put in in the freezer. When you want to cook them, take a log out of the freezer, turn your oven on, by the time the oven is ready the dough has thawed enough to be able to cut easier, put cookies onto tray and bake. I always keep some in the freezer just in case

That is so awesome Amy all that baking. You are so fast too I love it! I have never tried to freeze cookies already cooked but I will definitely try that now. I usually freeze the dough then you have to wait for it to soften to scoop it onto the pan. At least the way I freeze it which is probably the hard way. I learn so many good tricks and tips from you so thank you very much. I enjoy and I know many other people enjoy these videos so much. You did a great job and you also explain things and small details very well. I need to get better at that. Hope you are doing really well this weekend. My husband will be home soon from his job and we still have alot of work to do outside from the storms but not too too bad. Some of my neighbors got water inside their homes and I am praying for them and everyone else. We were truly blessed and so was my dad. One day I am going to talk my dad into letting me video him cooking he is very funny and people would really get a kick out of that I think. Hey just so you know coconut oil is actually not better for you than vegetable oil! Vegetable oil, while not super healthy in large quantities is an unsaturated fat (heart healthy fat) while coconut oil is a saturated fat (you can tell it is a saturated fat because it is not liquid at room temperature!) Coconut oil isn't bad for you but its not as healthy as most people think, it is similar to butter! (I have a degree in nutrition and wanted to clear that up!) Have a great day!
