When I was 12 years old I made a 8 foot long ORCA to play with my GI Joes on. I forced my Dad to buy a six pack of Heiniken Beer which if you remember in the 70s were shaped like barrels to make the shark barrels. I think this project has all the passion that I had as a kid. Thanks for sharing and documenting the journey.

If I would have tried duplicating all this detail my wife would have divorced me I think. I have never seen this much detail in a recreation ever. Excellent job. Bravo for sure.

Since Jaws is the greatest movie of all time the obsession to recreate Orca, Bruce and the boys is a dream not everyone has the skills for. This is one of the coolest things ever. Now I can't wait to see the stop action movie.

I've a 3d printed RC Orca I WAS quite pleased with, till I saw this! Bravo Sir, utterly magnificent. (edited to add - my 'Bruce' porpoises when towed at just the right speed, not very realistic but entertains onlookers - I imagine yours will too.)

Love this, I was in Cape Cod in 1976, the year after the film came out and my best mates Mum worked at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute. The film still scares me and kept me out of the ocean that year. I always said, if I won the lottery, I'd build my own life size working ORCA. Great build - truly amazing work.
