So sorry to hear that this great bodybuilder has passed on . Met him in 1984 in Chicago with Lou Ferrigno . Larry was such a total gentleman & so delighted that I knew immediately who he was. A great loss to the great sport of Bodybuilding.

If you pause the video at 0:30 you see how narrow Larry's shoulders were!! He makes Phil Heath and William Bonac look broad shouldered. Great build otherwise, and unlike Phil and Bonac he didn't have a huge bloated gut!!

+Tuco Ramirez Tuco, Colbert also claimed to be a good friend of Larry's...the truth is they had met, they weren't friends ...Colbert lied about Larry's steroid usage...why? I don't know. Larry never used high amounts of anything, when he was using which was rare he used 20 mgs of dbol a day for a 6 week cycle. He was a an advocate of supplements and used amino acids to trigger gh release...bcaa's for recovery and always used large amounts of Rheo H. Blair protein. Larry died of complications from alzheimer's and nothing to do with steroid use. I worked for Larry starting in 1981 through 1999, we were good friends...not a claim like colbert made. I hope this sets the record straight as you now know the truth.

Oh yeah..lol..I was working in the biophase office then as the lead trainer...that was the hypergrowth formula protein. Larry said the igf in the protein would be destroyed by stomach acids without using the heavy cream...the fat would protect them. I think that was something he had started back in the 60's with Rheo.
