Rotation in the downswing is often mistakenly done by just spinning your hips, but we want to make sure we get proper hip turn by using our feet's interaction with the ground to get it.

The man of 1000 hairdos has done it again! This seemed like a big breakthrough on the course today. It has my hips moving away from the ball at impact instead of toward it. Much better rotation too.

My 9yr old daughter struggles with early extension. Her right foot and knee shoots straight forward towards the ball. Tries real hard to get on the left side. This move really helped her tonight get a “feel” of what her right foot should be doing. In the beginning, she was shooting her foot straight back. After several attempts, we got her to slide right like you mentioned. Her footwork now on shots are million times better! I’ve been searching months for feels out there for her. Thank you!

Thanks so much for the final piece of the jigsaw in my golf swing. Been playing golf for over 50 years and have been as low as 12 but never been able to kick on from there and realise this has been the reason why. Again many thanks...

Makes hell lot of sense, and thanks for taking this drill further for us. Years ago, I watched Butch Harmon (or someone else I can't recall) on the Golf Channel saying that during the downswing he would suggest to keep the heel of the trail foot ahead of the toe (towards the target) for a while longer. And you have simply demonstrated this with greater details! Very solid, thank you very much for doing what you're doing !

Thank you for clearing that up LC. That’s a lot more torquing than I initially thought. 👍

haha im a bit late on this but great work Larry, I was fooling about with this a few years ago then I saw George Gankas teaches this too so I tried to ingrain this cue as I 100% believe it. It always feels awesome in drills and sometimes in hitting balls but I often don't feel it (not torqued onto the right I am thinking on those efforts) or I don't get left well enough which is another thing I struggle to do consistently.

Found this great, and this is so key for me to get power and control. "turn turn turn :-)"

Still work in progress for me but I am getting better, still a few things that needs to addressed but see a much overall improvement in strike and angle of attack on the irons. Getting better dispersion and even hitting it further as a result with a lot less effort than before. Thanks for the immensly great content you make!

is this the correct sequence? torque trail foot 12 to 3o clock on backswing then to start down swing torque feet from 12 to 9 o clock on lead foot? love this video only thing i think beginners will struggle is if they putt too much focus emphasis on trail foot during down swing , it's not the ideal weight transfer to lead foot

Been hitting my irons close to the heel (leading to the occasional dreaded shank) until this torquing motion moved my butt back and now I'm hitting more in the center of the clubface. It seems all this time my butt (and my swing path) was moving towards the ball causing the near-heel strike.

Two ways to come back, one way to come down. The feet can lead back and down or just down. Swinging from the feet can control the entire motion. Hard to teach that but it is possible.

Hi Larry. If I have a faster swing using arms only feel rather than rotation based should I stick with the arms swing?

Any tips to cure a flip at the ball or to get the shaft lean more off the from leg. I’m struggling with this. I have a square or closed face on down swing. And I’m turning my body , it seems like my left arm is bending a bit at impact on full swing but 3/4 70% power my impact looks great
