The down the line view was a great way to show the difference between the two moves. Thank you Larry, be safe

Such a great exercise! I incorporated the club and ball. I was getting 110+ ball speed with 160yd+ carry, and I feel the swing is synchronizing up better with the legs.

Hi Larry, thanks so much for the videos, super helpful. One question - I notice during the push down and up, your head level changes quite a bit (down and up)...For years we’ve heard that as a bad thing (most famously in the context of Tiger’s bad habits). How should we think about that? Or is that not a concern for amateurs? Thanks again for all the videos!

Don't worry about head moving, there are more important things to think about in the golf swing, at the end of the day, if you move well, you'll hit it well, trying to keep your head steady as a focus will not encourage you to move well =)

Beautiful! Great explanation,,,,so really to start the downswing we are sitting into that trail heel (right foot ) and rotating,,,, not sliding toward the target ?
@LarryCheungGolf4 жыл бұрын
No slide, you are pushing into that trail foot =)

When I think “push-up” I get the look you don’t want (and a sore lead knee). Maybe I just need to think rotate/torque the whole way through.

perhaps, depends on the player on what they need to feel more of =)

I think to turn lower body the back heal needs to start lifting off ground to make hips turn and with good finish on toe when you did it wrong way I notice back heal on ground and like you said extending up with restricted turn, look all top 7 golfers in world and notice back foot heal just slightly off ground at impact and bit more with driver, what you think
@LarryCheungGolf4 жыл бұрын
It's player dependant, for most amateurs, their back heel lifts off the ground in a completely different way than most pros do haha =P

@@LarryCheungGolf be good to know on one those pressure plates where weight goes and also wrong ways with that heal coming up and lack of turn

Makes sense. Must say im guilty of doing this EXACT thing! 😁🤷🏽♂️
