Very smart way of presenting the slight pause at the top. Sometimes the language used can make all the difference in whether or not somebody can apply the concept. Awesome.

sooooo great!! NOBODY else has ever talked about so consequently! Thanks so much for sharing. Gorgeous.

Dude. This was absolutely f’n fantastic. Makes so much sense. That roll thru stop sign and then rotation allows the club to shallow out instantly and set you up to just clear the body and absolutely unleash. This was great

One of your best Larry, this reduced my likelihood of ripping it inside on the take away and pulling down on the grip to start the backswing, everything just syncs better.

Great analogy! Something we can use on the course instead of just the practice range.

Loved this drill Larry and will definitely incorporate it into my practice. I used the cardboard under the right foot drill (from one of your other pieces of content) to help me feel the ground and my strike improved exponentially. Keep the content coming- and thanks from Rainy England.

This past winter I spent some time in California and went to a course called LaPurisima near Santa Barbara because they have nice practice facilities. A ton of very good players were out there because it was one of the qualifier courses for the US Open at Pebble. The swing you demonstrated here was the swing those guys were using, a little quicker but no obvious rushed move. Very efficient, powerful golf swings. BTW, anyone looking for a very, very challenging course for a reasonable price in wine country should go play there. Take your camera.

No problem. There are people out there who claim that La Purisima isn’t too far away from Bethpage Black in terms of difficulty.

I have just found your site- some of the best golf instruction on KZbin. Have you done a video specifically on the takeaway and the role of left arm rotation in the swing? I would enjoy your thoughts if not. Thanks.

I have talked about that in previous videos =)

You probably have to get your hands and club more behind you in the downswing as a starting point, but tough to for sure say without seeing what your swing looks like =P

Probably rotating your shoulders too flat in your Downswing

All those landmines surrounding you (in the form of 'divots') are the result of golfers rushing their downswing! I believe posting a stop sign in that area is in order!
