Speaking of prison habits that still remain on the outside, my best friends oldest brother did 5 years in Angola Penitentiary in Louisiana and 4 years in Tucker Max in Arkansas previously. They were pretty much back to back as he broke parole from Tucker and did some stuff in Louisiana that got him sent there. He's been out since released in '93. For the first half a year or so after he was released, whenever we were outdoors, he would always look upward in all directions like he was checking for activity in guard towers. We used to joke with him about it all in good fun. He loved talking shit, so he never took offense to it. He actually found it funny.

I really got emotional about the old man at the mailcall... When i was in rehab for the 4th and last time i wrote letters to everyone in my family and to the few friends i knew didnt die while i was in.. And everytime i thought for sure i would get something.. Not a single fucking letter. Not. One. That really showed me who cared and who had my back... Me myself and I. Thats it. That fucked me up mentally even more than i already was dealing with.. And trying to get a grip on mental illness completely fucking alone kicking a nasty nasty drug habit and dealing with heart issues like if i died who would give a shit ya know. My grandmother who raised me from 3.. Was taken to my uncles after a fall at my house that really triggered my drug habit and mental issues and breakdowns... And they HATED me and never gave her a letter. I found that out right from her after she fell at THEIR house and fucking dumped her innyhe worst old persons home everr. She ended up dying there ALONE after 3 or 4 months.. Like how do you do that and still blame me for being a shitty person? Im 8 years clean 2 years sober and just had 3 suicides in my "family" back home in Pennsylvania and im in the upper peninsula of Michigan since I walked out of treatment.. And they STILL blamed me and wont talk to me. So now i had to learn to like... Move..on.. From my fucking blood family alone in a different state where i feel fully alone. Its all bullshit i really resonate with a lot of the stories.. The treatment i went to had a bunch of different walks of life from gang members rednecks and cartel members. It was wild.. I am so fucking happy i found your channel i really needed this positivity in my life..when I feel alone ill put you on and talk to you like your my family instead cause fuck them hahaha. 💛🙌💛

I *swear* I’ve seen someone else ask about this. And I *know* I’ve mentioned it myself, in a comment on another video. This would be *brilliant* for Lawton. Considering Thief Sim has you stealing Jewellery sometimes in Greenview and Richie R! 304 on Industrial, *might* have some kinda Jewellery, not 100% sure on that one,

Do a 1 million subscriber meet-up maybe? Edit: forget that - I hadn't watched up to 5:10 yet (I found that quite shocking, is that due to sensory overload you talked about in one of your videos or PTSD?)

There's 2 ways you can learn about prison. Seeing it for yourself, or being a law abiding citizen and watching Larry's videos.

Hey Larry, great video. For your next movie review do you think you could review a movie called Scum? It's a really great prison movie from 1979 with a young Ray Winstone. It's quite qraphic but I think it's one of the best prison movies I've ever seen.

Lawton mentioned being ‘in debt’ somewhere, when he first got out of prison. I can’t, for the life of me, remember which video he mentioned it on, but it was something to do with having to pay back the people he’d caused problems for, during his criminal proceedings, and how mobsters et al, never actually save any money.

There are definitely good officers who cared and treated us with respect. HOWEVER, that number gets MUCH smaller if you ask how many of them would stop a corrupt officer from abusing someone, or how many would tell the truth to investigators if their co-worker committed a serious crime. There are VERY few officers who stans by their integrity to that extent. Officers label anyone who would be that honest or willing to stop officer abuse as the same label convicts give to snitches. So that scares the good officers from being truly good. But we understood that even though they wouldn't report their evil co-workers, some of them were good people. There are two I met in my ten years in Maxs that I honestly considered to be friends. They would definitely help me cover up anything I did against the rules, and advocate for me to other officers during incidents. But those two were RARE. Diamonds in the rough. Overall, about 10-15% are "decent" people who aren't assholes, 35% are just people who see it as a job and just want to go in for 8 hours and get paid, and nothing extra (good or bad). Then 50% are just pure evil. They got bullied growing up, or they are sociopaths, or they're just miserable at the world. They are DANGEROUS and cruel. Less than 1% are good enough and honest enough to stand up to or report that 50% group.
