You're going to love this machine. I got the P2 with the conveyor, smoke purifier, fire safety kit, and the rotary attachments. I'm having a blast with this machine. The detail it can do is phenomenal! make sure you do your tests! BTW, you can right click on the software and get rid of the background. Makes it alot easier to design

Was looking at laser cutters the other day specifically the S1. Most people go for a cheaper D1 but I like the safety aspects of the enclosed units.

As someone who used to own the air filter, they get crazy expensive to replace the internal filters! There are ways to save some cash by making your own, but I just paid a guy to drill a big hole in my wall instead

That price tag makes me weep but here’s hoping the prices for these keep coming down! Love how easy it seemed to be to learn to use the software and how excited you were about all the stuff you could do with it!

If you get a cheap laser and just upgrade the motherboard to one that is lightburn compatible, a small cheap laser is an excellent starting point But it’s worth noting in almost all cases if you’re wanting to cut or engrave metal, you need a fiber laser I have experience on an expensive AF laserstar fiber laser that would color, etch and cut steel and titanium. Then wound up with my own k40. The k40 isn’t really anymore though. It’s 65w, and everything but the frame has been replaced over time

After setting up the lasers with the measuring jug you could probably easily bake a cake now ;-) Love the laser though. I only have a Phecda 20w so oneday i would love a CO2 laser.

You use the Anti freeze in the winter months for the water that cools the CO2 tube. Just like a in a car. You don't want the water to freeze in the lines

This is really cool. Defiantly love the acrylic sign, need me one of those, let me know when commissions open up 🤣🤣. I'm also interested in how we could use it to further our 3D Prop making and cosplay. 🤔🤔 Great Video as always Frank

So no mirror alignment process? Does it have air assist? how big is the reservoir for the water to cool the laser/is there a chiller feature? CO2 lasers are cool, but not something to be left unattended, especially with acrylic.
