Love the efficiency and cleanliness of the double sided tape on the layered projects. Do you have any reservations on the longevity of its effectiveness? For example, a Christmas ornament stored in a box in the garage would go through four seasons of temperature change before being used again. I would be interested to see how the double-sided tape held up to those or similar conditions.

Thanks. Great questions! I was curious at first and had reservations. However, I’ve heard from loads of other laser folks who have had zero concerns or issues from using it over the years. I’ll still keep an eye on it for sure and update on here accordingly. I’m about one year in for my projects personally with the double sided adhesive and everything that I’ve kept in the garage has held up. However, I have a pretty mild climate in Western Washington.

Can you offer some advice for someone just starting? I have an ATOMSTACK 12W diode laser in their basic Velcro cover that vents to the outside but it still smells like smoke in my basement. What’s the best solution?

Definitely check out my comparison video to see which one is best for you. I love all the models. But one might make more sense for your situation.

I do really like your videos, so it kills me to be a little negative here. But this isn't really a laser setup/workstation video. I do like sit stand desks for a lot of things, garages/workshops included. But I don't see the point with the laser besides sponsored. Like going up and down I don't see a benefit. Now my shop looks like yours, laser projects and materials all over. I'm going to build a cart for the laser and material storage, drawers ect. And wings for the conveyor add on I have. Just saying something more like that or going over workflow. Generally I'm overflowing with new/good info but my one real take away from this video was the double side holder
