These vidoes are amazing and will serve us for years if not decades, to speculate on "what if an inch or two here and there...". Lasha's consistency in lifting heavy is just pure art. These attempts look quite identical, no matter if 100, 200 or 70 kg on the bar, his technics and composure often serves as tutorial in proper snatching. This is among other few things, what makes him the greatest of all time. And it's a joy for an eye to observe it in royal category. I'm priveledged to be able to see this in my life.

@@ConnoisseurOfExistence what you're essentially saying is the only thing in athletics that matters is how strong you are. That's wrong and close minded. Be in denial all you want, but a dude that can run a sub 8 minute mile AND deadlift 600 pounds and back squat 500 pounds is a better athlete than Lasha. There's way more to being an athlete than just strength.
@ConnoisseurOfExistence6 ай бұрын
@@explained4242 You're wrong. Athlete in the sense that I used it, which is also the common meaning of the word, means a professional sportsperson. Someone who competes in a sport for a living. What you're talking about is a multi skilled athlete, like triathlon, decathlon or crossfit competitor. Athlete is simply a person that competes professionally and this is how we call pro sportspersons - athletes. In any physical sport. Lasha, as someone who's gone above and beyond what anyone in this sport have ever done by far, what was though to be utterly impossible, is the best athlete ever in my view. Of course, others can also compete for that spot, like Usain Bolt or Alexander Karelin. But as I see it, Lasha has gone beyond anyone. I can run a mile in about 9 minutes and can do about 15 pullups, at 113 kg bodyweight and my powerlifting movements are descent for an amateur. And yet, I've never competed in anything and wouldn't call myself an athlete. Lasha is paid to train probably more than 5 hours per day at the gym....
