Wow. You're certainly an idiot. The developers are Czech and Slovak. It's a Czech project published by a Czech company based on historical events involving the peoples of Czechia and Slovakia.

If you ever play through this again, the inventory items you'll wind up with more than you know what to do with are wood and cloth. You can start selling those off once you're done with train upgrades. There's never enough metal. If you ever wind up with more than about 300-500 herbs, sell the excess. I also sell off everything other than raw food except medical kits, first aid, and stimulants. You can improve morale easily without resorting to tobacco or the fancy foods.

making ground breaking game like inscription but has farming and fishing huh? How about an mmo where your community can gather? I kinda love how aloft looks, since it's like Sea of Thieves but playable offline but unfortunately no fishing and cooking at least yet :p. And bears

I can’t speak for Raptor, but for those of us of a certain age, the commies were endlessly fascinating because they had built a rival society to the West, proud and competitive if less colorful than ours. Something about this simplicity may lend itself to resource management games. Or maybe it’s just that eastern developers are good at nostalgia.

Historically, they were the villains. The game is based on the Czechoslovak Legion, which trekked it's way across Russia during the Russian Civil War at a time when the Soviets were winning said war.
