I lost my chocolate lab many years ago and she was my soul dog. Once in a lifetime, she was the runt and we went everywhere together before I married. She absolutely worshipped the ground I walked on. When I had to let her go I’ve never felt pain like that before and only the loss of an actual child would be greater. Love you Chewbie

Sorry about Atreyu. I lost my soul dog unexpectedly in August and, having been fortunate enough to have never really needed to grieve before, was absolutely gutted. The best thing I heard from someone was the “growing around grief” explanation. It sucks now but will get better and you will always cherish the time you had with him

Lost my souls dog January of 2022. Cancer diagnosis as well. 10 days after diagnosis had to make the decision to end his suffering. I’m an OG subscriber and had my dog through similar circumstances as you Mike. He meant the world to me. I have other dogs that I live to death but it’s just not quite the same. Although it gets easier w time some days I still think about him and it knocks the wind out of me. Anyways on a positive not I always look forward to this vid every year!
