Our young heeler had some pretty bad carsickness, which actually saved us once when he ate a sock, just took him around the block and he gave it back. Anyways, one thing that seemed to help for him (and I know all pups are different), was him being able to actually see the scenery go by and a little fresh air. Maybe try putting the crate up near the window on the side so Maple can see the trees?!? I dunno, we’re still not sure if we’re outta the woods, but we’ve also avoided bumpy roads into the hills with him. Good luck, great video, we love watching you guys!

you should pull a small cargo trailer with chairs and like rug and other junk. kinda like a garage. you can store extra water and what not in it too. could be worth a thought imo.

Mike, wow! The van is really looking sharp! You’re definitely cruising/camping in style. Talon’s probably getting some knowledge for his Gen 2 SAT Van. My Wife is 1/2 Korean, I actually met her in Pusan, after my 1st year in college (almost 44 years ago…lol!). I’m fortunate she’s such a good cook, learning from her Mother how to make most Korean dishes, e.g. Kimchee Bokum Bop (one of my favorites), awesome kimchee, Korean spicy ribs, chicken, etc…

Looking forward to this one. We have a 14yr old and two doggo’s as well and road trips/overlanding in my Tacoma isn’t ideal. I am on the Sprinter bandwagon but will need to rent one this summer and give it a try. Will be curious also long term to see how the 4x4 Sprinter works for you, especially compared to what you do in the Taco.

Mike, I want to know more about that secondary sound system in the Terrain, if you use it does it automatically make the outside speakers turn on or can you use that and turn those outside speakers off?
