Mike, don’t change for the haters. There’s plenty of us that enjoy everything on your channel. It’s part of what makes it interesting. I’m a gun guy and an off roader, an overlander, and an outdoorsman, I try to be prepared...like you said, it all fits together. People will either take it or leave if they don’t like it but there’s plenty of us who are interested in multiple things.

Mike, I found you when I was building my get home bag several years ago. Appendix carry was a foreign thing to me then. Carried a gun periodically then, and did bushcrafty stuff. Camping was something I did on my own. I know for sure that you influenced my move to appendix carry and my family's first trip together back in June.
@LastLineOfDefense5 жыл бұрын
That's awesome man - hopefully both of those things have been worthwhile for you!

I see KZbin as a way for people to learn about things we don’t get exposed to so much anymore as we don’t have as many “real people” to teach us. As our society appears to have moved away from doing for ourselves and towards farming out things for “others” to do, and also, as we are more sedentary, we have made ourselves inept in ways. This is how I teach myself things I am interested in. I’m thankful For the reference base.

Hey Mike, great video, love to hear both of your opinions on life and things. I just wanted to make a comment about the life as a military member being harder verses easier than civi life. Life in the military definitely has its challenges and is hard on family. However, I never worry that my family will need for anything in large part because the military provides a house and a paycheck that will always come. So when I'm away I have that peace of mind knowing that my family is taken care of. Furthermore, there are tons of benefits like the health care and the educational opportunities that make life in the military easy. I don't want this to sound like an ad, or anything like that. I'm just speaking from my experience and I have worked and lived as an adult on both sides of the fence and for me and my family the military has been amazing. Unfortunately, that is not the case for everyone. I wish it could be. Again thanks for the views shared in this video.

Great video / discussion. I’m a gun guy but totally agree with the commentary here - gun KZbin has gotten so boring and repetitive. Guns are just a part of a broader preparedness and adventure centered lifestyle. So many gun people are getting fanatical and view simply talking about something else as being anti-gun. It’s getting silly and counterproductive.
