Urdu liguistically has been perfected over the period of 800 years to sound pleasing to the ears when spoken and specially in poetry and songs... for example ... words end with sounds like eey, o, aaa, eee, (double vowels) and words have be optimised rythymically to sound better to ears... Urdu is the most sophisticated language purpose build for poetry, singing (bottom line is build to express ones artistic creativity in most pleasing way to the listener)....

The genre of music more towards west adjoining Punjab was Sufi and Punjabi.. Enjoy.. keep discovering !

Will you ever let us have our identity? I respect Indian and its people a lot, but you must understand we need the credit in our name. Everybody in west would think it is east Indians developed where the truth is different. Why do you call the same language as Hindi? Why don’t you call it Urdu? Because you want to have your own identity. Let us spread it a Pakistani rather a shared culture

Please react to more of Coke Studio songs, i would suggest you to explore more of earlier seasons which was produced by original creator of Coke Studio franchise Rohail Hayyat, this franchise was initially started in Pakistan later spread to other countries. These videos are old so maybe not the same latest Coke Studio sessions video qualities but the videos are absolutely awesome. He produced S01-S06 later left and came back for S12-13. Even thou other seasons produced by Strings are also v good. I would suggest you to listen to more of S06 as it was experimental music a fusion between Pakistani music collaboration with musicians from around the world. I would suggest some songs from earlier songs: Hor Vi Neevan Ho by Noori Aik Alif by Noori & Saieen Zahoor Jalpari by Atid Aslam Rabba Sacheya by Atif Aslam Yaar Vekho by Sanam Marvi Manzil e Sufi by Sanam Marzi Soz e Ishq by Abida Parveen Ramooz e Ishq by Abida Parveen
