guy just casually rips through some of the hardest 80's board problems then proceeds to redpoint some 8c+'es in the afternoon. what a beast.

glad board climbing is getting its due. for sure, fnigerboarding and composing has its uses, such as breaking through a plateau. but nothing builds power, finger strength and just climbing technique like a good steep board. turns out malcolm smith, ben moon, jerry moffat, ned feehally, megos, ondra, mr. bosi and so on know their stuff. shocker! :)

Great video! I love how you explained how board sessions put the best of climbing training together. I'm still interested in building a small campusboard setup at home to supplement my training, in addition to my Metolius Simulator hangboard. Salute from HOLLAND.

maybe you can try doing the same (but of course lower grades, he warm ups on 8a, well you can do the 6b on the moonboard)

I've seen him doing 'easy' climbing on vacation. Dude seems like a machine. Grabs sth and it doesn't really matter what it is, he moves on.

I have a question... my rock gym has bouldering levels set as V0-V12. When you say 8a (for example) would that be considered V8 or do gyms label their routes different?

Good question, 8A in font grades is equivalent to V11
