Laundromat Coin Collection, Kicking Out Loiterers, and Cleaning Issues

The big laundromat is a ton of fun and is doing well but it also comes with its fair share of drama and problems. We had someone who would not leave the bathroom this last week and weird stuff going on with the cleaners as well.

Summer time people don't change clothes often and many are surprisingly still walking outside with only their pajamas (very ghastly) to go shopping. Next month should start to pickup. Hope your door is locked while you are collecting the coins. Also, saw a video where there are new machines that you pay with your phone; no cash on hand. Cannot imagine how much those cost. Keep safe and watch those workers using your items to go and clean people's houses with your equipment.

just curious, almost all of the laundromats around me have switched over to an app-based payment instead of coins, have you looked in to how much this would cost to swap your machines over?

I think the bathroom is attracting unhoused people and car campers. Word gets around. Can you close the bathroom access?

Think you should take the bigger machines from the restroom and relocate them towards the middle facing the front of the window. Might see them get used more then normal past weeks.

I went to a new laundromat yesterday. Washers were $2.00, dryers were .25 for 4 minutes.

Lock the bathroom. You'll attract homeless and drug users. Leaving it will cost you money because if there's randoms hanging in there, people won't say anything - they just won't come back.

Your vending machine should be making more money for the amount of product not in the racks. Do you have a camera on that area? It might be worth scanning through the recording and see if there are shenanigans. The pop machine seemed cash-light a couple weeks ago, too. I don't know what the soda price is, but the money seems low for the amount of product you have to restock. My data granularity would have me coin counting each washer and dryer and tracking them individually, along with service and repair. With 12 quarters for a load, some of your machines appear to be getting used for only 2 or 3 loads between counts. That's low utilization. Good luck with finding consistent cleaners. Another scarce service.

Be careful with your business i see alot of business being broken into u should hire someone like security to watch your business or put money into it like put good steel walls or something strong where people cant break into your business i see alot of businesses being broken into its worth the money in the long run im just saying these business owners need to stop being so cheap i know they shouldn't have to but its worth it if u want ur business safe from these criminals i give u props though be safe dont trust nobody make sure u don't keep money in your business its all love from Fresno California 559
