Can't believe I missed this video, and some of your newer ones. Anyways thanks for uploading! It was interesting and always good to hear what's going on. Also hope you feel better, if your not already.

So sorry to hear about your medical issues and your issues with the new doctor. I remember when I had a tooth issue while I was in France and how difficult it was to deal with. My landlady took me as I was crying from the tooth pain and I remember sitting in this nondescript random house turned dentistry with a French man laughing and having a good chat with my landlady and basically I understood nothing of what was going on. It was one of the hardest moments I've had while abroad, but I do hope you manage to find a good doctor willing to help you like they should. Good luck and I hope your back improves soon!

That is the catch22! lol You have to buy something in the vender machine to get change for the Washer/Dryer. I see that often and pretty clever from a business grad point of view. lol

Oh, I hear ya about the bulging disk, I had one from Thanksgiving to May. I have since realized that it was compounded by my arthritis, which hates damaged connective tissue. New prefecture!! This sounds exciting. Are you going to give us the low down when you get there, or are we just going to see a new background one day? Did you move to be closer to big cities, or was this a big step up? Inquiring minds want to know :)

Since you've been watching Master of None, have you seen Parks and Rec? I've been watching it, Aziz Anzari is in it and I think it's really funny. It's also on Netflix

you should do some targeted exercises/physio therapy if you have a herniated disc that causes sciatic nerve problems(pain, numbness)

About spot on with the current exchange rate of Yen to Dollar. I just ordered a book from Japan that is ¥1,080 . I was kinda surprised that was only $8.40 in USD.

A laminectomy? Poor guy. Maybe you need to take a medical vacation to the nearest large city with a sumo club. There's no way those guys don't come out without bulging discs and torn knees.

Time for a trip to Ryogoku in Tokyo. Sure the sumo lads there can point you in the right direction.

Hey Jason, I am "normal weight" and live in Japan. About two months ago I had a cervical plexus herniated disc in my upper spinal column, which is about as painful as it is to say. From what I could understand it began as a bulge and eventually gave way. My doctor here in Fukushima thought he could solve the problem without the use of therapy or medication. He took me by the neck and started pulling my head while a nurse held down my torso. Aaaand I fainted. Japanese doctors are whack

Will you retire in Japan do you think? I have heard that Japan only wants foreigners while they can work, how true is that?
