As a long time fan of your channel Gly, I was unsure of the addition of Laura. Not everyone has the talent to be interesting in front of the camera. Laura has shown in this episode she can be engaging, hold her own and tread, crawl where most of us would never go. Well done, I'm hooked again...

Nice job for the first time going by herself. Hopefully things get even better. You 2 make a great pair/ couple. Much like me and my wife do when we Went camping fishing hiking hunting and camping in Eldorado county California where we used to live. While we can no longer do those things because neither one of us drives or owns a vehicle we still work together starting from scratch just about a new life in Missouri a life of much more freedom politically than we had in California. Hopefully in the future things will improve for us. It’s good to see you doing something very similar. I hope that you both continue to do well and do what you love to do.

Laura did an excellent job with the Camera, she even paid closer attention to the Geology than you Gly, which is something I really appreciate! The smaller mines can be some real gems, and these few had some real beautiful remnants of veins of Copper. Some stunning chunks of Crisco Cola. I would so be taking samples of those rocks, and in one case, the first one Laura went into, had an incredible sample of Crisco Cola right on the surface! I would be taking that one home with me! I'm such a Rockhound! Thanks for the inaugural first spring episode in Nevada, and you're totally right about taking time to adjust from barely above sea level I once made a trip from Calgary Alberta, Canada to Seattle Washington, and of course Seattle is at sea level and Calgary is at 3500 ft. but I had to cross over the Crow's Nest Pass in the Rockies and the Continental divide which is at 4449 feet to get there! so yeah even sitting and driving in a car you catch yourself beathing more often after even a short weekend trip. Thanks for the video you two and take care and be safe! And thanks Laura, if it wasn't for you, we wouldn't have been able to see the insides of the mine, such as it was, because "Gly" wouldn't be able to fit in there without doing some significant digging, and with having just come back from Arizona, he wouldn't have been too successful, methinks. So, it was nice to be able to get to see inside of a mine that had too small of an opening, for our Host to fit into! Meaning no disrespect to Mr. A&FP Himself, because firstly, I am portlier than he is, and secondly, he does his best for us as it is. Thanks again you two, I really appreciate the hard work you go through to bring us the insides of these old, abandoned places!

Laura has officially entered the house...er, MINE! She is rockin' it! Those cans were opened the old way of slice and rip! I wish the mines had really continued but can you imagine the feelings of the miners when after all that work they had to stop? WOW. Well done, Kids!!!
@gvii7 ай бұрын
Man, that thing had to miserable to go crawling around in there. That worming around while you're all hunched down is killer on your back. Especially when you've got more than a few summers behind you, lol. That said, they sure were busy in there. Between all the cans strewn about and that enormous amount of waste rock all piled up in there, they were busting theirs butts down in there. Must have been some pretty good ore they hauled out. Lot of work for such a relatively small mine. But all that copper in there makes for a great video. That super rich bluing spread about is incredibly cool to look at. Great video, as always. Thanks to you both for sharing.

“Gly”: We’re beginning to think that once the Virginia City mines dried up, many of the Chinese workers spread out and worked some of these mines. They were much shorter and that could be the reason why many of these mines weren’t very tall inside.
