having that many lemons was part of the trick. it was meant to fool you into thinking you had a choice. when the only lemon that was not rigged was the one she first squeezed.

At first, She takes the bill the guy gives her and change it for she has. All the lemons that she has are the same except for the one she takes first. All contain a bill that is exactly a copy of the one she breaks and it is broken the same way. So it is a basic trick. It would have been more difficult with a signed bill. It was a good performance anyway.

What was the significance of the part where she cut the first Lemon and squeezed Lemon juice onto the other Lemons?

The lemon she cut was taken from behind the table. Every other lemon was brought by her friend. Cutting it in half also made sure it wouldn't get picked

to show that it was a lemon. and to remove the only real lemon out of the bunch. the rest had what she needed inside them. all those other lemons were just to give the illusion of choice.

Here is how it is done. Another note is needed. Spec is not in on the trick. Preparation: Tear the end off the end off a £20 note. Take a walnut, take the nut out, put the large part of the note inside. Glue the walnut back together. Get 16 lemons. In 15 of them hide an egg, by scooping out and gluing back together. Performance: Take borrowed note from spectator, tear off end, but give him back not the bit your tore, but the other part of the note you hid in the walnut. Burn the rest of the note. Lemons are brought in. You cut number 16 which you have marked, the intact one, in half to prove they are "genuine". Spec chooses one of the other 15 all of which have an egg inside, so it doesn't matter which one they chose. You then cut in half to reveal egg. You go behind the table eg at 3:53 and bring out the glass but also secretively hide the walnut with your torn £20 large piece inside in your left hand. You can see her left hand is closed and she has it palmed. Take back the egg, crack it the glass and as you open the egg, push the palmed walnut in the back and let it drop in the glass with the yolk. Spec cracks the walnut and discovers the other half of the note to which he holds the piece. They of course match. P & T would not be fooled by this. It is called bill to lemon or bill to impossible location. Very old effect. You can now do this effect yourself using my tutorial!

+Ebon Hawk the wallnut probably had a slit at the top big enough for a note. she most likely palmed the walnut and tossed it in when she cracked the egg. the egg was just an egg. all the lemons have eggs.

The REAL way it was done: 1. switch borrowed bill for one she has doctored... Bills are printed in order, last digit is different. erase the last digit and many bills are the same serial number. 2. prepared vinyl lemons that have real eggs inserted through a cut in the end 3. have a doctored bill inside a hollowed out walnut, that she holds in her left hand, and drops in glass and egg is broken. Trick is over
