Omg she’s amazing! I followed her for a while now; was blessed to be able to train with Aldo her boyfriend and my God he’s is the most passionate, crazy detailed, technical trainer I have ever encountered the 1 hour session taught me so much! So happy for Lauralie she’s so modest and to think she was one of the 1st that really opened the behind the scenes of the realness of the sport, training, diet, sacrifices, safety, good & bad experiences, coaches! No other females were having those conversations about the sport. It hit when she said “she feels safe” it took her 10yrs. I’m sure there’s so much she has seen and lived through in this sport as she stands today and happy she right now has the right people in her life and confidence to choose who surrounds her! I like to add my 2 cents in; Well, I am a big fan of the female bodybuilders and yes, all divisions to me are bodybuilders, they just have a cleanliness about their physiques that we do not see in the men. I do not watch Laurie much but she is saucy!!! and she just makes me laugh we she tries acting like a diva, especially during contest prep, ouch, it hurts, that hurts......She is obviously a tank but tries to act soft...Great physique for a bikini competitor, not sure why she is in the division, like I said, she is a bit of a tank, in a good way of course, a much more whole some, strong, athletic physique especially at the first phase of prep, in my opinion, after that, it is down hill for her physique, hence why I am wondering why she does not move up. She most likely could have given Shanique Grant a run for her money when she was around, structure wise, not sure how she would fair when it comes to extreme conditioning.
