I spent a year in the US with a host family and the first time I every landed in the US and all the summers after I came to visit my host siblings always had a sign for me and I loved it I was always soooo touched . Also when I returned to Austria my real family also made a sign for me:) So all thumbs up for a big big poster :)))) !!!

Go all out!!!!! A million yrs ago my parents hired a bagpipe player to greet Scottish relatives visiting US at the airport.,,we've carried on a milder version of that tradition to this day. Balloons, signs, funny tshirts, etc are very simple ways to make loved ones feel special...and something they wont soon forget!!!!.

There is nothing better then being on-line and getting a notification that there is a new "The Vitales" vlog. It puts a happy spin on my whole day. I would go with a big sign to welcome Sal and Elena. Make some holes with a hole punch and tie a few helium balloons (like a "Welcome" and maybe one with stars and stripes, or red, white, and blue). Wouldn't it be a surprise if your sweet Nonna was with them!?! OMGosh, I think I would pass out! I'm sure the twins are excited too! Are you going to vlog their arrival? I think you should do your Welcome to America sign just because it's such a fun thing to do. The cake sounds great but they will see welcome before they see your beautiful cake. You can have your cake ready for them at your home with fresh coffee for them.

My daughter always loves the signs. I would not recommend a bunch of balloons as then how do you get them back home in the car. With their luggage I"m sure your car will be packed. I'd still get a bunch of balloons, just have them back at the house. Two celebrations and surprises. You can have your cake there too Joe.

Make them a great big sign for the airport! I have flat feet too born with no arch. Heels for several hours can be murder on your feet. I get it Laura. Somebody commented on how you get things done everyday cooking, shopping, working out, taking care of yourself, cleaning the house, writing your cookbook, uploading videos etc...so I'd like to see a full day in the life of Laura from start to finish. A time when you don't have to go into the city. You may have done one or something like this a few years ago I can't find it. We got a tip in this video wash and clean your produce before you put it away in the fridge, do some prep work. How you prioritize your normal day... I think rise early up til kinda late.i think that would be cool to see. Baby Dominic is the stuff he is so precious, he wanted a steak so badly. The way he looked at his dad was priceless lol.

If you like Tapatio you might like Pico Pica, it has good flavor. The "new to me" chile sauce that I just discovered is Chamoy, you put it on fruit! OMG soooo good on watermelon, cucumber, mango, jicama, pineapple cup....DELICIOUS!!!

After working at our Trade Show today at the Javits Center -12 hours....we got stuck at the Lincoln tunnel too! We went over a median and drove down to the holland tunnel. Took 1 hour longer and we are 18 miles away in NJ! We leave each morning at 5:55amto beat the traffic and are parked in the lot at 6:30am. Loooong day, but tomorrow is the last day of our show! yAY. And I used to drive 40 miles each way to the Bridgewater Wegmans but now we shop at The Restaurant Depot! You should really check out that store! IT IS SO TERRIFIC! The produce is soooo fresh and cheap! Meats top notch. Highly recommend this store! You only need a tax Id to shop there (my hubs and I have a men's neckwear business).

It's called immersion learning. The more you surround yourself with a language and it's culture the faster you will learn the language. Laura, you should definitely speak Italian to Joe at home if he wants to learn it.
