I think it is great you two are not rushing to have children. I just thought I would mention it since sooooo many people seem to be on pins and needles for a baby. Having watched you over the years, one of the things I love is seeing you guys take one step at a time, and just enjoying the journey. On another note, I agree with some of the other suggestions for Fall recipes below, pumpkin ANYTHING!!! LOL I would love a ice cream recipe, or a smoothie one. Laura looks SO beautiful in this vlog! Her hair always amazes me lol. I think people keep asking about babies 'cause Joe & Laura just seem like good, grounded, fun loving folks with a really happy life and close family. What better than adding a sweet little baby to such a warm nest? Besides, if you've seen the older vlogs where Laura babysits or feeds the little ones it's just outrageously adorable- she's a natural. I can totally relate with you about family living far away. You guys made me all teary eyed! My life is the opposite, I live in Spain with my Spanish husband and my family, roots and traditions are far away in South Africa. Baking has been a great comfort to me during those times that I feel sad *smile* ps. I love how Joe supports you! He's a super guy!

Laura and Joe, I was just watching the first few episodes of Laura In The Kitchen and was shocked at how far you've come! Happy to hear that Ylenia, and Sal made it home safe, and sound. I suspect that Nonna, your Mom, and Sal, and Ylenia always felt the way you two do now after you two left Italy for the U.S. I guess we never really thought about it, since you hadn't had your family coming to your 'neck of the woods', and then leaving (yu were always the ones travelling away, and leaving them, at home, without you). You had such a gloriously, amazing time with Ylenia, and Sal ; of course, you are going to be in a bit of a funk! Just keep savouring the memories, and remembering how special it was to be able to do so many 'kickass' things together, and showing them so many 'firsts' while they were here! I bet they conider that opprtunity with you, and Joe, to be one of the top highlights of their lives! Your tiebacks, and especially your drawer pulls, are beautiful, Laura! The thought, and time you are putting into every detail of your new space is further sprinkling your home with creativity, warmth, and love, missie! Your hilarious banter, and wonderful exchanges had me blurting out laughing more than a few times with this video! I thought I was going to actually wake Tim up (It is very late, and I am in bed watching you, with my laptop propped on my chest, with headphones in my ears!)!! And then, at the end of this video, it re-shows the 'Warheads' candy 'taste test' for Ylenia, and Sal from the prior video, and I hear Sal saying "Oh My God, Joe!"! Bless their hearts! Keep your chin up, Laura. Like my late Grammie always used to say "..and this too, shall pass." Hey Joe, They will turn yellow in the Winter. I live in CA, so not weather issues her. You may need to move it inside. We have a Meyer lemon tree, which are so delicious. We get our crops in the Spring and Winter. Good luck with your crop!😀

Laura, here are some recipe suggestions: Pumpkin Bars with Creme Cheese frosting, Candy Apples, Chocolate Hamataschen Cookies, Chocolate truffles, Creme Brulee, Sour cream doughnuts, pumpkin spice doughnuts, Peppermint Bark ( or more a fall variation with dark chocolate n some seasonal candy, poutine, chicken n waffles, different variations of chili ( vegan, meat-lovers, etc), homemade cranberry sauce, different variations of casseroles, apple pound cake with sweet glaze, cranberry ice cream....okay I am done...for now:) Have a terrific day...hooray for fall!
