I'm really glad you liked this song! I did not vote for it purely because you haven't really liked this album that much and figured you would like Grab Thy Hand even more. This album is one of my favorites from Chevelle, easily in my top 3 so it's good to seem some redemption here.

Absolutely love this song! Might I suggest a sleeper of a banger that I haven't really seen mentioned often or at all. It's called The Damned and it's in the same vein as Hunter Eat Hunter. It's about a zombie invasion. 😀

This song is an absolute masterpiece. Chevelle's best work to be honest. The dynamics of all instruments, the structure of breakdowns and bridges, the stacking of parts as the song progresses... I wouldn't change one thing on this.

Well Enough Alone next!! 🤘 I don't mind the ooo's but its one of those things thst I don't find necessary either. On their live shows as far as I know they don't really do them. Like on self destructor when he goes dadada in the bridge they don't do that. So you're probably right about it being a producer thing.

I thought I read somewhere that this was Pete's idea for a horror movie song, and it really works in that context. I could see it on the soundtrack of one. I like the ooohs myself, I feel it's a very Chevelle thing.

I thought I left a comment yesterday 😁. There are two videos on the CheVelle KZbin channel - Behind the Scenes in the Studio parts 1 and 2. Pete and Dean talk about making this album. The songs in the background of the videos you already know - this one and “Take Out the Gunman”. I voted for “Grab Thy Hand”, but this works too. 😁

It’s on their KZbin channel, and this song is playing in the background. It’s called something like “In the Studio”. There’s a part 1 and a part 2.

Hey Lauren! New subscriber here. I love your reaction videos, and you make me laugh every time. I'm pretty sure if I did reaction videos, they'd be very similar. Anyway, I have some suggestions for Chevelle songs for you that I think you will love. These are Chevelle's catchiest tunes. You won't be able to get these out of your brain: - Peach - This Circus - Choking Game - (I'd put Pinata in here too but you've done that one) This song will melt your face off. But in a good way. This is a very heavy Chevelle. It instantly went into my Top 10, and you know how hard that is with all their freaking amazing songs: - Shot from a Cannon This song is probably at least my top 15 if not top 10: - Ouija Board I love falsetto Pete on this one: - Fell into Your Shoes Old School Chevelle. This is from their first album (of the same name) and it's very garage-band sounding. Pete's just getting his voice, but it's great: - Point #1 I mean, you can stick any Chevelle song on and it's going to be good. But those are some picks that I think you'll like. Maybe you can add some to your polls (which I need to find...)

Agree with you on the oooos, it's affecting the song as a whole. You need to do a video just to rank their songs.. there are a lot more to add to the list still.. need to give Mexican Sun & So Long Mother Earth a second listen, they get better on repeat..
