About 15 months ago I bought a nice guitar and Lauren's course. Put a minimum of 10 minutes a day in. Tonight I played in front of a small crowd with a friend. Four songs and wasn't nervous a bit. Stick with it, guys. It's a true joy.

Great, I've a Hal Leonard book of Bob Seger. It'd been nice if you could have played it once all the way through.
@lucasolari375620 күн бұрын
joking aside, slowing down the intro a lot I hear notes resonating during the 'muted strums'. They seem to be played like this (E to e): G chord [xx00xx] C chord [xxx0xx] the 3rd string (G#) is not muted during the muted strums of G and C!

Watch my videos on capos. If you are watching this video, it assumes you are playing at an intermediate level and already know how to use a capo. If you are looking for all the information in one place in a step-by-step system, I highly recommend my 7 Level Guitar System VS learning randomly on KZbin.

@@LaurenBateman very good and clear explanation, I liked a lot and finally I can play this song correctly!
@BadBaltGuyАй бұрын
I'm not alone here, but I've been playing for the better part of 15 years and I have no clue what 99.9% of these explanations, names or terms mean. What my ears hear, is what my hands work to replicate. If I try to break it down to a science like this, suddenly I can't play the song at all. Any song. idk how yall do it. Hell I don't even know how to read music, couldn't tell you anything about scales, I know nothing of music language. Never have. But yet I can play things on the level of XYZ and other wild 80's hair metal. Idk, I just think if you got it, you got it. If it has to be learned in a scientific way, you're not wired for it. It's not a bash, I'm just saying.
