I have panic disorder and last night I started feeling an attack coming on, so I took my medication and desperately looked for something to put on in the background while I tried to relax. I came across this and I remember only listening to about 15 minutes of it before I drifted off into the most peaceful, restful sleep! Mind you, this is so rare for me because it can sometimes take me hours to fully settle down when I start feeling the panic creeping in. Thank you so much for this, Lauren. It was really lovely and addressed my anxiety in a way that wasn't dismissive or patronizing. Will definitely continue listening xoxo

Thank you Lauren for this. Anxiety has been kicking my ass for 4 weeks straight. I never understood why people commit suicide . But after experiencing anxiety for longs periods of time I truly understand why they do it. The thought has entered my mind . But I have over come it . I have children that need me. It's a hard battle one of the hardest I have ever experienced , but hey I have made healthy changes to my life style and working on feeling better . I was in a full blown panic attack and my heart was racing out my chest. I put this on and I was asleep in 10 minutes. I woke up a few hrs later and restarted it, fell back asleep immediately. This was amazing and Im so grateful I found it!! ❤️

@CHRISTIAN DRAPER First let me say I am by no means belittling your feelings. Just reading your(and others) comments worried me, truly. Also I am a sufferer of severe anxiety & bipolar depression myself. Hearing you say your anxiety is so bad you "refuse" to attend school is troubling to say the least. I know school,life,etc can be tough but let me be honest with you. Right now is the easiest life is ever going to be. Once your out of school and have to enter the workforce & get a job. Life gets real, real fast. Then its ALL on you. Nobody is going to hold your hand & guide you through everything as when your in school. If you "refuse" to go to work because of your anxiety, you will lose your job. Someone else will replace you. Then its up to you to find a new job. Which can be stressful and/or anxiety inducing. Obviously you need to work,to earn money, to enable you to feed yourself & maintain a place to live,etc. Enjoy life as much as you can as often as you can. Again, please dont take any of this the wrong way. Though I do not know you personally, I truly want the best for you. For your anxiety, start gathering the tools that can help you now. Journaling(as another wisely commented) your thoughts & feelings to get them onto paper and out of your head. Breathing exercises, meditation/visualization, guided hypnosis before bed. Like anything it takes learning & practice. The benefits will be more than you can imagine. Best of luck my friend and remember "your not alone". 😉✌

That is a excellent recording. I get early morning anxiety. I am not very good at shutting my mind off from worry and stress. This helped me fall back asleep in about 10 minutes. Your soft voice calms my mind. Thank you for all you do for us 🙏❤️

Dawn Heart L.R.P.S. Explains lots more of this in her course Accepting Sleep. Which is mostly about meditation to get to an Alpha state which occurs when you surrender for sleep. Dawn says to keep a dream diary in order to catch the answers you asked for. When you know how to ask.

My father passed away this month. And he wasn't sick. It was sudden. Now I'm in an emotionally abusive marriage and I have no family or friends to turn to. I don't know how to get better with my cPTSD when I encounter these terrible emotional ploys on my psyche and soul. I have two beautiful kids. But they don't really know me because I spend much of my time in my room so as not to poke the bear. I just want peace. I know this isn't who my husband was or is. I don't know how to get through to him. I am running on empty. And I am scared.

Live your life and worry only when something actually happens and it’s actually time to worry. If you live in the future and keep worrying about it, you make yourself go through it many times. Don’t do that to yourself. You are the master of your own mind like Lauren says. We will try to be different and think better each second of every moment. Trying and choose a positive thought instead of a negative one. It’s has a lot to do with self talk. Positivity only! Good luck
