Some great “rim protectors” all time would be Ben Wallace, Shaq, Mutombo. Ben Wallace would be a fun reaction. Today’s game would be Rudy Gobert, Hassan Whiteside, Draymond Green (during Golden State’s run). Maybe a reaction on Green’s importance to the warriors would be informative.

James is no where near a top shot blocker in history also statistically he’s not even in the top 50 in the NBA right now (honestly probably not top 100 but it’s hard to find the statistics for top 100 since it mainly shows top 50). .Obviously he’s older but he was never seen as a top blocker he just has good looking blocks that will inflate the amount he’s seen on a highlight reel.

Heres a few players you still need to react to personal highlights of. 1. Nate Robinson, standing at about 5'9" Nate had the opportunity to go pro at almost any sport he wanted to. A generational athlete for sure, the only thing that held him back from being an all time great was his height. Dude was 5 foot 9 so watching him out there among the giants was really fun to watch, he even won a couple dunk contests. Nate had hops. 2. Manu Ginobili, if you look at Manus stats he never really stood out but when you watched him play with no prior knowledge of him or his team you would assume he is their star player when he was actually their 3rd or 4th option at times. He knew coming off the bench and giving the spurs that little offensive burst in the middle of their games would make them go far. He had such a great understanding on angles to make insane passes and had some great footwork when attacking the basket. He wasnt the best athlete in the NBA but made up for it because of his fearless mentality of going out and doing what Manu does. Its really hard to describe the way Manu plays. 3. Nikola Jokic, hes a Center who was blessed with a point gaurds court vision. I was always sceptical about Jokic, I never understood how a guy so big and seamingly out of shape can be efficient in todays NBA where the pace of the game as high as it ever was. Jokic has magic like vision and passing abilities. I know theres a lot more players that have played in the NBA who are probably more "deserving" of a reaction video, but this is my own small personal list to Luka. You may not agree but from the countless number of NBA videos hes done, I think the way these guys play with be more intriguing to him.

I think you should try to watch a video on all the NBA rules explained!! It might be a little elementary like the positions explained video you did, but I think it might help you understand just how impressive some parts of the game are! For instance, with block the ball has to be still in upward motion, if its in the downward part of the shots arc and you block it even if it would have missed it'll be deemed goal tending and the points will be given, as well as it cant be above the direct circle of the rim and if it touches the backboard before you get the block again even if it would have missed the opposition will be given the points. Might not be worth making a video although I would still watch it, but just for your own sake could be good to watch and learn about! Defs makes a couple of these blocks even more impressive with the knowledge of that in your mind!

You should react to NBAWorthy's video showing "Lob City" and their best dunks from 2014/15. For some context, Lob City was a nickname given to the Clippers a couple years back because of the amount of Alley Oops they threw each game. That team was led by point guard Chris Paul and Blake Griffin, arguably one of the best dunkers of the decade.

If you didn’t now you can only block the Ball while the Ball is going up. If the Ball is already going down or if the Ball has already touched the backbord is it goaltending and then they count the points to the other team.

MY top 3 rim protectors (currently) are: 1. Hassan Whiteside (C) 2. Javale McGee (C) 3. Joel Embiid (C) MY top 3 rim protectors (all time) are: 1. Jordan (SG) 2. Olajuwon (C) 3. Wade (SG) top 3 rim protectors (this season) stat-wise: Hassan Whiteside (C), Brook Lopez (C), Anthony Davis (PF) top 3 rim protectors (active players) stat-wise: Dwight Howard (C), Pau Gasol (PF), Serge Ibaka (PF) top 3 rim protectors (all time) stat-wise: Hakeem Olajuwon (C), Dikembe Mutombo (C), Kareem Abdul Jabbar (C) MY All-Time Fantasy Defensive Team: PG - Dwyane Wade, SG - Michael Jordan, SF - LeBron James, PF - Hakeem Olajuwon, C - Dikembe Mutombo Obviously, the PF and Center players are better rim protectors than Jordan, Wade, and LeBron. However, when you factor in what Wade, Jordan, and LeBron do other than block shots (like speed, IQ, Hustle, Clutchness, Shot-making, Steals, Awareness, etc.), it adds to their defensive value to the team and how that defense translates to offense after a defensive stop, steal, and/or block.

LeBron isn't the best "blocker" in basketball history, but definitely the best "chase-down blocker" at least, which is a very different skill. The block in general is dominated by bigs like Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Hakeem Olajuwon, Tim Duncan, Dwight Howard, Dikembe Mutombo etc. The two skills require high technique because you can't touch anything but the ball, otherwise it's a foul, and it requires heavy instinct and IQ for the timing, not get faked etc
