LOL That was my thought, too. I mean, yes, there are other cities (San Diego, San Jose, Sacramento, Tacoma, Olympia, Spokane) but not many that I'd consider cities rather than just towns. I felt sorry for Boise getting little airtime because it's a surprisingly cool town with a great river walk, lots of breweries and coffee shops, and it's such a great place to live (with a relatively reasonable cost of living) that it's one of the fastest-growing cities in the U.S. And honestly, for living in L.A., he didn't talk much about the culture there -- in addition to all of the entertainment in terms of movie, television, and the music scene, it's a foodie heaven, especially if you like experimental things that happen in food trucks, and they have a ton of different cultures represented in the cuisines there. I doubt Korean barbecue would be as popular as it is today if not for L.A. really lining up for Kogi.

That depends, the same can be said about cities like Birmingham and Atlanta even though they are both their states largest cities, (Huntsville, Alabama is catching up). Miami is a sprawling city like Atlanta and Birmingham. Atlanta only has a city proper population of 500,000, the same with Miami, but both cities have well over 5-6 million people on their metro area. Same with Birmingham, Alabama it only has 300,000 in the city proper but well over 1 million in their metro area.

From your reactions (I've watched many of your videos) it sounds like you'd love Seattle and the surrounding suburbs. Similar weather to England, with lots of seafood. People there are very outdoorsy and it is the official Evergreen (greenest trees) state. Very lush and green there with countless bodies of water. It's also the biggest soccer (football) city in the US with the loudest NFL fans in the league. Really fun city. Love watching your videos, hope you visit some time.

Something interesting about where I’m from, St. Louis, is that it always looks much smaller than it really is. That’s because the city and county split at one point. This means that the official population of St. Louis city, is around 300,000, but if it was measured like almost every other city by including the county it would have around 1,300,000 people in it. Its a top 20 city in the USA for total metropolitan area population with around 2,800,000 people in it. Just a nice fact :)

@@Tobtakular St. Louis' infrastructure looks like a city that was developed for a very high population. Parts of it just reminded me of the metro NYC area. As for NYC it really is overwhelming at times the enormity of it all. Take a week to explore if you ever get there!

The guy screwed up a couple. Jacksonville is the largest city in Florida while Miami is the largest metropolitan area. If we stick with that logic he's wrong about Missouri. Kansas City is the largest city in Missouri but St. Louis is the largest metropolitan area.
@jamesnoonan20094 жыл бұрын
I think concerning Kansas City being the biggest city in Missouri I think he is going by square miles and not population, if so then Kansas City is in fact the biggest city in Missouri although pulled pork was started in St.Louis and not in Kansas City like he said

6:35 It's Connecticutian and I'll explain it here :) Bridgeport is seen as the poorer side of Connecticut while New Haven is usually seen as very wealthy and prosperous. The state is a mix of rich and poor. Most of the upper part of the state is hills and small communities, south of CT is cities, factories, beaches, etc.

I'm evaluating More on Boise Idaho, Boise Idaho is the safest place in America to actually live, although it is becoming the most up-and-coming expensive place. It is surrounded with beautiful evergreen forest and mountains, and foothills. Most people who live there have a two-story or more house, there's no huge skyscrapers and people are very outdoorsy, it is one of the most bike friendly places in all of America with bike paths all around. Is the 50th state ranking in state funding, but somehow the kids managed to get amazing grades there. It is a really nice place for a family.Although there has been a bit of a housing shortage as since 2016 a lot of people have been moving there. oh and my family had to go into a protection program and was brought here, so he was right about that. (we've been out of it for a bit though)
