Great video! How do you approach making a "canned answer" outline for final exams? Would love to see a video on the best way to do this.

Hey Angela...did you ever have an exam where you walked out of the room KNOWING THAT YOU CRUSHED IT??? And then your grade confirmed that you did crush it???

Hmmm good question. I've definitely had the opposite happen - where I thought I bombed an exam and I wound up getting an A. I suppose there have been exams that I felt solid about that I wound up getting an A in as well, but I don't know that I ever felt 100% confident walking out of any exam because there always seemed to be other issues to spot or arguments to make (that I would have loved to) if I had more time.

@@AngelaVorpahl I know the feeling; I've been there a couple of times. In my first semester, I was sure that I missed every issue under the sun on my Contracts exam, and I even entertained thoughts that I'd either be put on probation or be told to leave. Instead, I ended up with my first ever A in law school. YAY!!! In my second year, I was blessed to score an A in Federal Income Tax after I had been a practicing accountant for ten years, so I'm certainly proud of that. In my third year, I had the hardest exam ever in Bankruptcy. All of my classmates were smart, brilliant people...and THEY walked out of that exam shaking their heads; that's how brutal it was. Even with that, I got blessed with a B. My friends in that class all graduated, so they made it out alive as well (LOL). Most times, I was cautiously optimistic. But in my second year was the one time I KNEW that I killed it: I had taken a four-hour exam in Wills, Trusts, and Estates, and I walked out of the exam CONVINCED that was the easiest exam I had ever taken in law school, and that I hit a grand slam. My friends were equally convinced that I was insane.🤣 It turns out that I got a B+, which was the second highest grade in the class. My professor was kind enough to mention that fact when he wrote a recommendation letter for me a couple of years later. Rumor had it that anywhere from a quarter to a third of the class ended up with a D (holy cow!!!). Happily, I've been blessed to do well at the JD and LLM levels over the years, but I will always cherish the Wills, Trusts & Estates grade from Spring 1997 as my finest hour in law school.
