Weird that it was the judge who's actions were actually wrong and got her sanctioned. Which is why she quit. After the Florida Supreme Court reprimanded her. That is wild, I had already had seen the video but didnt know who trial it was for. Now that you said it, I did a little digging . " After sentencing Cruz, 24, to life without parole as required, Scherer left the bench and hugged members of the prosecution and the victims’ families. She told the commission she offered to also hug the defense team. That action led the Supreme Court in April to remove her from overseeing post-conviction motions of another defendant, Randy Tundidor, who was sentenced to death for murder in the 2019 killing of his landlord. One of the prosecutors in that case had also been on the Cruz team, and during a hearing in the Tundidor case a few days after the Cruz sentencing, Scherer asked the prosecutor how he was holding up. The court said Scherer’s actions gave at least the appearance that she could not be fair to Tundidor." She was only 46 years old. I get it but I hate it happened like that.

Judge dorrow did a very good job of remaining calm despite how badly darrel acted. Fantastic judge. As for the nikolas cruise trial, a lot of people are upset thst she snapped back, whilst not being tastful, this woman was listening to a man who said "weve suffered the most" whilst the fakilies of the dead were sat behind him. Truly aome of the most disgusting defensive attornys ive seen
@margaretconnor562311 ай бұрын
Nah for real. Yes she lost her temper but those lawyers had the audacity to claim they've suffered more than anyone in the courtroom cause they were called out, meanwhile the parents of dead children has to sit there and watch the lawyers joke around with the murderer of their kids and flip off the court to make him laugh. The audacity. They've should've been disbarred for that comment alone.

They need to make a movie called “Mr. Brooks” and its a 49 minute supercut of him shaking his head and making crazy eye gestures while the judge yells at him.

I can’t rewatch Darryl Brooks being a true monster. Killing those people doesn’t make him a monster, his treatment of this proceeding and the further torture of the victims makes him a monster. I’ve never before wished a more horrendous series of events leading to someone being un-alived as much as I did for Brooks. And I studied the crazy Manson trials.

Judge Dorrow is a saint! If i had to deal with Brooks' antics during a trial i would not be able to keep my patience like she did. I don't believe she lost her temper even once.

I agree....however, as I work in law (paralegal), women are judged harsher than men when it comes to lawyers and judges. Had she been overly agressive, as great as that would be, some may accuse her of being "overbearing" or "rude", thus that gets out into the legal community and they may attempt to get her in trouble with the supervising judge. I've dealt with weak kneed insecure male lawyers, believe me...some are incapable of restraint when a woman lawyer or judge demonstrates superior legal knowledge.

The court should have put a shock collar on Mr. Brooks! Never seen such a circus of a trial in my life and the judge gave him leniency like he was a victims family member!

Judge Dorrow was truly amazing. I have no idea how she managed such patience, calmaty, and professionalism with a case and defendant like Brooks. She proceeded in a dignified and formal matter, truly a great example

So great she had to resign because she couldnt remain impartial and professional? She was awful and only received praise from people who dont understand the legal system and who had crushes on her. It was embarrassing. Thankfully she resigned before having to be properly reprimanded and now works as a civil lawyer...
