Did u watch every minute of the trial? If u did u would know the judge wasn't even in the room! Nor was court in session. This is the problem with everything in America right now. You repeat what you HEARD from a third party source without knowing the actual basic foundation for the actual truth. Then people spread it around as fact. And that is how EveryThing gets misconstrued. People don't want to put in the time or energy to receive the information straight from the actual source, they just want to believe what someone's conclusion online was, an exaggeration. And then comment it as a fact. It's ridiculous. (I'm not here to argue about the case or the middle finger) I'm merely pointing out the facts of what's wrong with our media and our country!!

@@TimmyTOnTheFly Uh? Nobody is saying that the shooter isn't wrong. But saying the judge was in the right is wrong too. The first clip of the judge telling off the defense isn't just ridiculous, but it shows the hypocrisy of the judge. The defense was upset after the parents of some of the victims brought up the children of the defense council during victim impact statements. The defense obviously wasn't happy about that, and for the judge to get emotional and start berating the defense, then act outraged when defense brought up the idea of the judge's children being mentioned PROVES WHAT THE DEFENSE WAS SAYING.

his kids were NOT mentioned by anyone. he misheard. judge states that here. either way, he is in the wrong. everyone in that court room HAS to respect the judge. period. end of story. so for him to make the comment he did, should've put him in contempt. when you're the kid in class that acts disrespectful and extremely childish and rude, sorry but you aren't given any leniency or the benefit of a doubt.

If we had an eye for an eye we wouldn’t have this kind of thing happening. I know that would never happen. BUT much much stronger consequences MUST take place now or this will continue. I liked this judge and thought she did the best job she could. However, hearing that she is writing a book about the trial doesn’t sit right with me. Don’t profit off the murders of children! Let them rest in peace and let their families live in peace.

Hopefully the book is dedicated to the victims of school shootings. And any profits going to a good cause. Doubtful she would need the money.

I would think that there would be no monetary gain for her and she's also writing an autobiography, not just about the trial, but I would think that she would be donating all the proceeds to the families of the victims. Look at how much she's talking about these non-profit organizations and being very respectful of the families. So I don't know why it didn't sit right with you but it must have been something that you ate (hardy har har) *lol* 😉 cuz I don't think that there is anything unsettling about it......😜
@robyne32979 ай бұрын
@@AngelWhisper_7 I would think that if she intended to donate the proceeds of the book to the families or organizations, she certainly would have mentioned it. The shaft? That’s literally her job as a judge? #1 rule as a judge is to be impartial (which obviously no one that subscribes to this channel understands) and although this judge seems like a nice woman, she is not very impartial and seems to side with one side often.

Yeah, it's disturbing she still doesn't seem to get that she proved the defense attorney's point. He said "if someone brought up your children you wouldn't like it" and she proceeds to have a meltdown over him bringing up her children. It's a startling inability to put herself in someone else's shoes. All she had to do was make a blanket request that the victims not wish anything bad upon the defense attorney's children.

The fact that she has to stand up for herself as a judge stand up for the parents whose children were killed and she gets punished for it? It’s absolutely insane! She is meant to be impartial. Defense was highly highly unprofessional and insulting to the victims. But the judge was certainly doing her best to open an appeal for bias. There were points where she was justified and points where she was over the top and also unprofessional.

Judge Scherer was relatively young and inexperienced when she was appointed to the bench by Gov. Rick Scott. It’s believed she got the appointment because her father is a big-time Republican fundraiser. As a judge she is held to a higher standard. Her job is to be impartial and maintain order, which she didn't achieve! Even though it happens all the time judges showing bias is not good for our justice system.
