Had she listened to the caller, who was direct with all the pertinent information needed, the caller wouldn’t have had to repeat herself over and over. I wish people would just THINK about why dispatchers would re-ask critical questions. On a 911 call, confirming answers by asking the question again is critical for both officer safety and for clarification/confirmation if it’s needed for review. Also, it prevents dead air when they’re actively typing information into the dispatch system. When he said the time the police had of 9:30 was wrong and that it could not have happened while he was at home, I really thought he was trying to cover for himself. I could not have been more wrong. I really thought it was he who did it, only to hear it was a colleague at work. What I would give for a brother like that. I apologise to Hugo. He was really sincere and loved his brother and his girlfriend very much. He had really great respect for them. Really uncommon. On the other hand, this guy with a fetish didn't go to kill her. What's with cops saying " real quick " any time they ask you to do something? Quite annoying.
