I wish I could hug those family members, especially Chris Hixon’s little boy! He may not have been able to verbally express his feelings like the others, but in a way, that’s what made his testimony so powerful. Thanks for the observation. Perhaps a former student of his can confirm. It might not have been U.S. It could have been New York, Paris and Hong Kong. Why not? But great thought. We couldn't touch anything, and we had a limited time to go through each floor, so we couldn't explore everything we observed, and some of us observed things the others did not.
@KristxnGaming2 жыл бұрын
@@rafaelolmeda7295 It would be interesting to hear how differently each member of the jury (and others) perceive the same scene. I'm sure there were others that didn't pay those clocks a second look, but likely focused more on something *you* happened to not give a second look. Super interesting how the mind works! How are you doing after seeing such a scene, Rafael? I know some, like myself with a history in the medical field, are able to look at these things through a scientific lens, making it easier for me to process and handle. Most people, though, are not. Hoping you're holding up alright and if not, are able to seek out support to help you through it. Wishing you nothing but the best, I appreciate you being willing to share what you saw in those classrooms. So very well spoken. It's something nobody should ever have to see, but it's the reality we live in nonetheless.

It was VERY DISTURBING, as a mom simply visiting MSD - for my daughters game VS MSD..It 2as a Year later in 2019- 1st time I'd ever been. My children did NOT go to school there,but all of us in South Fl lost a lil piece of our heart that day..ALL if us. Our team was supp to play them Feb 15 2018. The feeling that came over me as I pulled into parking lot ,& looking at the building Froze me..I could not pull it together to get out of the car for over 30 min. So, We said each victims name& a prayer , & my children went in to warm up .I waited a few min, then marched in as if it were any other game. But it wasn't . (Secretly- I rooted for MSD. I noticed an injured survivor on their team during warm ups. .When my daughter saw I was finally there , (and saw me wide eyed),she gave me a thumbs up... knowing exactly what I was thinking. She saw me crying a few tears holding hands w/ another random mom as the game started...which typically wed be on opposite side of stands. Then ,she shook her head & winked at me.. I yelled to her & the team "make it count", as if it were Feb 15 2018, the tomorrow that never came. THE cheerleaders started to clap, scream, & cheer for the players.. ALL of them.. For a few seconds- we were ALL ONE TEAM .THEIR WAS an undescribable feeling of humanity in the air, like a loud calmness of serenity, as if the angels were cheering too. Sounds corny.... but it was invisible magic. We had a scheduled game at MSD on Feb 15,2018... 17 ppl didnt get that ' tomorrow' game. 17 injured ,plus THOUSANDS OF friends, families ,and ALL South Fl zipcodes -didnt get an average 'tomorrow' ...In our hearts, the game was FOR all of them- score didnt matter. So MAYBE.. hate to say it.. but maybe' ppl NEED to 'SEE' reality.. it's way worse than the fiction we create in our minds.. I only saw the building, the banners, the 9 months after...and I'venever felt anything like that since. -4 1/2 yrs later. How many ARs + 18 to 24 yr old shooters LATER? -Malls, grocery stores, TX MIDDLE school,Uvalde, paso, Colorado, Indiana,, cali,orlando...NY, 4th of July parade!!😔 ....mental health, gun laws age restrictions.. Not much has changed, just like the inside if the 1200 bld. 😓🙏🏻
