Kid calling you Lad when he sounds about 10

It's the equivalent of mate in Liverpool. La has been replaced with Lad. 20 years ago it was Lid.

I grew up in the 80's. There was nothing to do where I lived either. But I didn't cause trouble. It wasn't my nature. And personally I believe that's what it mainly comes down to. You can blame the government etc but certain areas are rough.....and that's predominately down to some (not all) of the people who live there.

You are just encouraging it with behaviour like that. The Police aren't persecuting them. They have kicked a mirror off a Police car. On what planet are the kids the victims here, and the Police instigating anything?! Blows my mind the lack of respect for the community and each other.

Not just Merseyside Billy it's all over the country, you seen Morecambe, there's nothing to do, but there's no discipline, and it's only gonna get worse, Billy you've talked to good kids, so they're not all like that, the parents have a lot to blame in this situation, and I never thought I'd be saying this but my dad's belt put a stop to our bad behaviour as kids, but now we're seeing broken Britain 💔 getting worse, where's it heading, tits up, that's where. Thanks for that though Billy, loving your work ✌🏻😎.

It was the same for me when I was a teenager 15 20 years ago, nothings changed, there wasn't anything to do then, but I never caused trouble. You can't just blame this government to be fair, when I was growing up it was Labour who were in power, they didn't do much either.

Morming Billy, enjoying the videos mate. Reading comments and I get people saying bad parenting and so on but some will have good parents, you can't stop your kids going out and can't keep an eye on them 24/7. Once they're out in the streets with a gang of their mates it's monkey see monkey do at that age for most. The hard lads are usually the ring leaders, the others are scared of upsetting them so go along with it, or do it to seek validation. This has always gone on and in most cases would be impossible to stop. There's never money to create change and make hope for most kids in these communities. Rare exceptions will have a natural talent in football, boxing, music and take themselves away from it but for most cases they'll end up being a product of their environment. Its a vicious cycle, even if government funding brought change to a bad area, in most parts of the country your never 5 minutes from another just like it.

The parents should be in jail for failing to do their parental duties, and forbidden to ever have children again. And the children should be in foster homes with people who know how to raise children.
