Zero turns are fine if you're only cutting grass. I use my John Deere gt235 garden tractor for moving trailers and boats around the property which a ZT would be useless for. 54 inch deck, dependable, comfortable, and more than fast enough for me to cut over an acre of grass. No need to replace this old mower, it may outlast me!

Troy bilt pony 7 speed vari-drive belt system with 42 inch deck is hard to beat ,, 17.5 hp engine and cuts grass beautifully ! Is it as fast as your zero turn ?? Mine is very close in speed with no modifications ! I actually prefer it over my cub cadet rzt 50 rear engine zero turn mower ! I would bet my Husqvarna lth26v54 would beat your zero turn and then some , tuff torque transmission and 3 blades with an incredible turning ratio and almost power steering all factory !

My brother has the Troy bilt and his and mine are close but mine is barely faster because I have the 22 hp on mine and my dad has the husqvarna and it’s not even close but my neighbor has the gravely zero turn and he can run circles around mine

Two hand steering machines are the stupidest design I've ever seen! Everything else on the planet uses joystick or steering wheel to steer it!!! Even Bobcat had to offer joystick steering eventually because they were losing customers because of their old two hand steering method!!!!! Can you imagine the stupidity of having to use both hands to steer your car, all the time!!! And converting those two hand steering mowers to joystick control should not cost much more at all !!! Joy stick control is the most efficient for most machinery because it replaces the steering wheel, gas pedal and brake pedal!!! And it's all done with one hand!!! And all joystick control machines are zero turn!!!! Just change the Linkage between the handle and the two drive motors! All riding mowers are a waste of money also!!! Get a garden tractor instead of a lawn tractor so you can use a lot more attachments and do a lot more than just mowing!!!!!
