An EXTRA plus in this moment is that I have had the joy of LIVING in Hawaii now for 12 years and still enjoy 'paradise' here on a daily basis!! You can tell that it’s sunny, but tv just couldn’t handle a outdoor broadcast yet. Even in the early 70s it was tough and you had color video tape.

Actually, while rare, there was color video tape in 1959 when this program was recorded. I doubt however that they had portable color recording units at that point. Probably only in New York and Los Angeles at each of the network broadcast corporations.
