Just three years old and fresh out of the bathtub on a Saturday night while Mom was making sure our finger and toenails were clipped just right for church the next morning. Ahhh yes, 1957 and Lawrence Welk..........memories of gold!!! Thanks for sharing!!! ;o)

I hated that they cut the show during such a great song. I wish we could see the rest. I remember getting ready for church, as a kid and watching Lawrence Welk on public television, great memories. I love the show clips from the 50 Dodge, and Plymouth were great sponsors of the show.

at 11:59 , interesting car commercial ("1960 Plymouth") then a harp song: "Clair de Lune" - Rosalie Randall. She is introduced by Lawrence Welk. Then they talk for a little bit afterward. ~ at 24:13 , remarkable car commercial for a 1957 Dodge (distinctive voice over, extolling its attributes) might be fun to watch. Other good timestamps are in the Description - provided generously by the poster of this video. "Behind the Green Door" and "True Love" are two of my favorites.
