My Farmall was doing the same thing leaving one side wider than the other even if I moved the center over. I found out one lift arm was a little lower than the other. I use bone sauce from Perma pasture farm KZbin channel. It's worked for us so far.

That filming is top notch! Beautiful rows, can’t wait for the planter footage. I’m just getting comfortable with the rolling cultivators, not Joey good but getting better. Everything is so expensive now, the electric fences would be nice.

Hi Joey , good video as usual , you were getting busy there. To what you were saying at the end AMEN Brother ! Know on keeping the deer out. I saw a fence around a strawberry field where they put t post in at a 45 to 60 and put wire around it about three lines. Deer need to jump up and over. They can’t jump over that tip of fence. Hey Tommy I’ll come up with something. I may get a electric fence. It’s not worth the price for a few rows of sweet potatoes but if I use it also for the goats it might be worth that.

Thanks for sharing the video Joey. I always enjoy them. Rows look good. Hope you have gotten it all planted by now. Thanks for the message and insight. I have used deer away and it helped on a garden down the hill from the machine shed a few years ago but you have to put it out a lot especially if it rains. I had a man tell me about mixing up peppers in a sprayer with water and using that to keep the deer away from beans and sweet potatoes. Unfortunately I don't know quite how he did it but I am sure you can Google it as it is organic. I'm going to have to do something myself because they come right up beside the house and eat off the sweet potato plants. The did last year. Y'all take care and God bless y'all.

Ive been watching your videos in the back ground, staying silent on the comments and all. Sometimes I don't get a chance to finish them but this one I did. Im glad I was able to watch this one start to finish because truthfully I love your content, however I love your heart for the Lord and ultimately I want to champion that even more than all the tractor videos. You have such a gentle spirit, keep proclaiming Jesus! I bought a 140 about a year ago, your content has taught me alot. It’s comments such as this that gives me some of the most motivation to keep going knowing there are some that are watching and they may not say anything but it means a lot to them. For deer to scare away put some hair from the barber shop to keep human scent around or try some corn sprinkled around the edge of field that has been sprayed with hot pepper juice. One taste and they will leave. You are a great Christian. Are you sure you're not from Texas?

What is the purpose to put that furrow plow on to run in front of the planter? Why have that deep furrow to plant in vs just planting in the flat? I'm not criticizing I just am trying to learn.

I really don't know that's what the Old Timers did a lot when I was a kid or they had a planter with a built in corn shovel that ran in front of the planter. I think Danny had a corn shovel running on that cub planter he used.

@@Jtwes yea he had a small corn shovel I think. I have two middle bars one with a huge "bull tongue" as I have heard them called and another I could setup with anything I'd want. That bull tongue thing is big enough to plant basketballs it seems like!🤣
