Agree I run a removals business - due to the burden of paperwork and uncertainties of customs regulations, it has become too troublesome to move to the EU and we are no longer servicing these enquiries. There have been no positives of Brexit as far as we are concerned.

What the former Nat West chairman fails to mention is that one of the biggest (if not the biggest) drivers of inflation is housing costs, I.e. mortgages. Cutting interest rates would reduce this cost considerably and bring inflation down. I wonder why the ex Chairman of a bank wouldn't mention that...

I fear that by adding the N.I. cost all onto the employer. It could have a negative effect on the wider economy. Gordon Brown applied this tax to the individual and not all on business to pay for improvements to the NHS-but that was against a benign economic background - not so today what the new Government has inherited is a huge public debt set against a weaker economic situation brought about by the incompetent leadership of Boris Johnson's Government to leave the EU. The perfect ecnomic storm you might say!

That has been happening for a very, very long time. It's not a new thing just when you learned about it and don't be so silly as to point the finger at one person who has been in power for a few months. That's what a brainwashed person does. Every one of the thousands of departments are budgeted for, so for instance, money allocated to fixing a bridge won't go to making a tank etc.
