HI TEAM There has been an overwhelming interest in these "plug and play" pre-terminated harnesses. I anticipate these will cost approx 80-100 to make it worth my while and to contribute towards building the channel. I will only be using Genuine TE connectors and Raychem cable. If you are interested, please drop me a comment below and i will count you in for the initial batch. Cheers

@@JCYT Hello, I bought a different steering wheel in china, it is the same model that appears in this PVS video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aKGZkIJumZ6HY8k And only the keys on the left side work, I guess the ones on the other side are for cruise control (that my car does not have) and stuff like that. The PVS steering wheel can actually use all the buttons to control the headunit, but they use a wireless system instead of the spiral cable, so I guess they modified the connections, internally in the transmitter, to make it work.

I've brought an updated steering wheel with controls from a newer Hilux and the corresponding 0K051 clockspring. Would the wiring harness you sell on your website work to connect with my Alpine head unit on my updated steering wheel? Thanks so much! You have awesome content and I've subscribed.

Hey mate Sorry i don't have time to do a video on this so i'll give you as much info as i can I had a piece of aluminium lying around prob about 2-3mm thick I mounted the screen higher on the aluminium, i could not find the exact screw (i'm sure you can find these online) so went to jaycar got some M3 screws and tapped in a new thread into the screen. I definitely wouldn't do this unless you are confident, be careful what is behind those screws you don't want to go too far and risk damaging the screen. I then mounted the 4 feet about an inch lower on the bracket. It was very easy to do - it sits at the perfect height now!

Thanks for that! You might be interested to know that, I was looking on the Joying site and the new android 12 units with the Snapdragon chip, now have smaller bezels on the display, this slightly reducing the overall size, and on the 11.6 inch it has a black screen border not chrome. Thanks mate! Yes that's correct. Those buttons will be for cluster interface on the 200 which is not available on the 70. I also installed this exact same wheel on my mates N80 hilux and all those buttons do work with the N80 cluster interface... that tells me that all the extra buttons will need is to be wired in from the clockspring. Also, what if you just want to use this with a stock head unit, how would you preset the controls? Is that even going to be needed, or would it just plug and pray?

Hey mate I really couldn't answer that as my car came with factory cruise control. I believe you still will have to buy the plug and play harness. I've seen some companies sell them like SSV, PVS etc. Good luck with it. Hey mate I will not be able to confirm but can give you a few things you can check to verify. I believe the clockspring will accept a steering wheel with controls, but you will need to trace the wiring from the clockspring connector to your radio. Good morning mate I had a look for you this morning. There are no helpful instructions from Alpine. While you would still need my harness for any connection to be made (70 series don't come with steering wheel control harness from factory), i haven't figured out how it will hook up to the CCHTO15C Aerpro interface. The aftermarket android units have their own canbus converter so it makes installation as simple as connection two wires. I would expect the Aerpro interface to interpret a combination of signals from the steering wheel but unless i have it in front of me, i cannot be of any more help. No i don't think so. I've seen a few "companies" selling them. But they are simply dropshipping OR buying in bulk quantities to make a quick dollar.

Hey mate, here is the link. It's well over a year old now so they may have a newer model. www.joyingauto.com/newest-high-resolution-1920-1200-android-10-1-double-din-car-radio.html I've also done a full install on it too - kzbin.info/www/bejne/mafNcqCOnNV1d7c

@JCYT Жыл бұрын
Hi mate Sorry been so busy with other projects. But the cruiser is getting some love next month. I promise will get the cruise control sorted and make a little vid in the later part of the year.

@@dustyfarmer Funny the N80 hilux i also installed the steering wheel on - it had a DPF failure and went in for a new DPF, they didn't bat an eyelid 😂 However they did break his catch can, steering yoke, left the battery loose and the e-boards are no longer working.... incredible 😅
