London Stands with Orlando Vigil

On 13th June, we were incredibly proud to have been able to take part in the vigil for the victims of the homophobic attack in Orlando. Thank you to everyone who came out to Old Compton Street in Soho to show solidarity and support for Orlando. And thank you also to Scott McInnes for making and sending us this video.

Very emotional, but I love this incredible vocal tribute by LGMC and the outpouring of love and support from the thousands of LGBT folks, their families and friends. I have lived through 60 years of homophobia in society and have run the gauntlet of hatred from others on more than a few occasions, but so long as we can all stand together as one voice, we will remain strong against those who would do us harm.
