“It is radical to care for and love yourself unconditionally” says Skukura Woods on self-actualization. In this very personal talk, Skukura Woods shares with us stories about her mother and how she grew up dealing with her own identity. Ms. Woods is a graduate of Juniata College with a degree in Creative Writing and Communication Arts. In 2015, she came back to Juniata and is currently the Assistant Director of the Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, and the Plexus Program Coordinator. Skukura will share her thoughts on the steps and skills needed to self-actualize. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
