For the last location effect, you could simply count the number of cards they're dealing, & instantly know which Diamond they chose....

Great tricks, but I think I keep missing a simple step for the first trick. How do you get the card that is second from the bottom matched to its pair if it is in the middle of the deck after the first deal and placement is made?

Hey Steve, I tried to do the king or queen trick for my buddy over the weekend, but I did it wrong. During the trick, i wasn't sure what i was doing, and I still tried it , but i failed. I needed to watch this video today to see where i went wrong and re- learn it the proper way. I got my cards, and i started doing the trick without watching the video. I put a queen down on my side, and i put the other 3 queens on the top of the deck, and as soon as i began dealing the 3 cards in 3 piles, i realized where my first mistake was . Lol. I have to first deal the cards in a pile and have the spectator tell me when to stop. It was then when i realized that the 3 bottom cards are the queens, and I then deal the cards in 3 piles, making each top card a quuen. Then, when i do the australian shuffle called DOWN- UNDER, we put the queen down first, and the trick works. I dont know how or why i got confused and asked you if any number of cards in each pile matters how the trick will work itself. Sorry if i confused you. I think i turned my head and missed something when you were teaching it. Sorry, but im glad that i got it all worked out. Take care, G

I enjoy your videos, mainly because you deliver what you promise. I've seen another person on KZbin have a 30 minute video with "tutorial" in the title. The video ends up being a 25 minute advert for their magic shop, then 5 minutes showing a card trick so difficult, David Blaine would have a hard job with it. I'm a beginner, so I need videos such as yours to keep me interested and frel I'm learning something.

If you count the number of cards they deal down, you know what it is without any other need for looking....that means they can shuffle as long as they want in as many ways as they want. Same reveal, but more powerful because they shuffled to their heart's content.

Hi Steve, I hope you are staying safe and healthy.. CONGRATULATIONS! You deserve it. Steve, you will have many more subs very soon. You are a great guy, and you show us excellent card tricks. You are also a very good teacher and you explain the tutorials really well. Your channel is FANTASTIC. Keep up your WONDERFUL WORK. I watched this video earlier today. I already knew the first trick, which I love performing. I like the 2nd trick, a lot. I wrote you a cool message this morning regarding this video, but When i went to hit send, i bumped my cell, and my message disappeared. Dam, I must be a good magician because i'm good at making things disappear, lol. 😅. I did not have any more time to re- write another comment because I had a few apts to get to throughout the day. About 2 weeks ago, I saw your COLOR CHANGING DECK trick from 4 yrs ago, when you were a guest on Nathans channel called A MILLION CARD TRICKS. Nathan is an AWESOME card magician. I have enjoyed learning his fantastic card tricks over the years, but lately I haven't watched that many of his videos, because I don't prefer to watch a card trick and learn the tutorial that takes 10 or more minutes. I dont have that kind of time, and I can learn other great card tricks from other channels in much less time. I loved your color change deck trick, and i saved it to my emails to watch and learn another day. I just re- watched it and learned it a few minutes ago. Im going to practice it a little later and perform it in a few days. Thank you, Steve. I just now watched this video, and I really like these 3 tricks. I already knew the first trick. I love it. It is so cool to perform. Unless I'm mistaken, this trick is called BACK TO BACK. Did you ever hear of that name before for the first trick? I learned it a few other ways, and one idea that I want to share with you is to use 4 of a kind. If you use the 4 aces, put a red ace on top and a blk ace on the bottom of the deck. Then, put the other 2 aces face up on the table. Then, when you do the trick the same way as you taught us, when a spectaor says STOP, you put the black ace face up first, then the next time the spectator says, STOP, you put the red ace face up. Then, when you reveal the ending, you tell the spectator that they had you stop at and match the 4 aces. You might have already known this version. I just like to help. Lol.. I learned it to not show the backs of the 2 cards on the table, and when you reveal them, turn the 2 over and show that backs are a different color. I really enjoyed learning the 2nd trick. It's terrific. You said it is self working. I tried it when i got home earlier this evening, and it worked. I wanted to ask you if this trick will still work if you have an even number of cards in the first and 3rd piles and an odd number of cards in the 2nd pile, or does it not matter how many cards are in each pile, and will the trick still work? Have a blessed, safe, and wonderful weekend, Steve. Thank you, Glen

I know you want comment. So will just give one. Last trick. Count 9 is 9 of diamond. Count 6 is 6 of diamond. You have already setup the diamond. This trick, other can't check the card before you start. If you can setup diamond, why can't you set up straight diamond then straight another colour? So that you can continue to count and not restricted to few cards. So why need ace diamond to find the card when you can count?
