You're very articulate, smooth and properly paced with the details for this pattern, very easy to follow. I really appreciate this. Your voice and video has encouraged me to get back into knitting after 4 years!! Thank you. I'll be looking at your other videos as well to see what other wonderful items I can make. I am a new "fan" as long as ALL your videos are like this one!! thanks again.

I haven't knitted anything before but I would love to give this a go it look lovely and light and soft. Do you have any video's for a beginner that has never knitted? And I have to say your looking beautiful as ever. 😊 My husband think I should cut my hair so it's like yours lol that is a lot of hair to cut off as it's near my hips.

It looks amazing, but when the written directions come up, I see k3, sm, etc. What does the (sm) mean? I'm a beginner, I have only knitted 2 items so far. Thank you for your tutorials, the shawls are beautiful. God bless 😊
@claudiapedroso87615 жыл бұрын
Tina, sm means slip marker. The pattern calls for putting a stitch marker to separate the first and last three stitches so you can better keep track of the repeats. Welcome to the rabbit hole! :)
@tinaamen60645 жыл бұрын
Thank you, now I feel 🤪silly.
@claudiapedroso87615 жыл бұрын
@@tinaamen6064 No need for feeling silly - we all start to learn from somewhere and I bet you will never forget it now! The important thing is to not give up and each new thing learned becomes the treasure you create.

I've always wondered why does it matter whether your yarn is in front or back when you slip? Is it so the yarn is where you want it for the next stitch? Thanks!!
@ExpressionFiberArts5 жыл бұрын
Since the slipped stitch is visible, it will make a difference in how the finished piece looks. ❤️❤️❤️

I learned the knit stitch and to purl but it’s difficult for me to use small needles and yarn. Please tell me it will get easier with practice!!!!!😔
@tarag54475 жыл бұрын
Jennifer D it gets easier!! It takes a lot of practice and patience. Start simple. I know when I started I wanted to create these beautiful elegant shawls, sweaters and everything in between, but I learned to slow my roll and master one thing at a time no matter how long it took me. So don’t fret, it will get easier!
